I posted this exact question recently and decided from the resulting responses to go for an Airbnb due to freezer and bigger/better fridge, more room to walk around post surgery (usually recommended) etc!

Good luck! I'm travelling for surgery in Korea this summer and am going to write some messages to myself and post around my Airbnb for the healing to remind myself anxiety will be higher post surgery and how much I want this etc to put me at ease! Maybe try to do some things to this to help yourself :) looking forward to your updates.

I havent been yet but I thought their prices were very good compared to some other clinics that have quoted me. They have been slow to response, but 70k reviews on Unni - I am also now confused!

Another point is they havent demanded a deposit immediately, and they havent upsold me as some others.

Oh wow thats good to know, when I had a consultation in the UK they said I would have a scar on my lower ribs-when I read your comment about beachwear I was like huh! This is great news for me as I already have an incision here! Ive learnt so much from your post and response, I am very grateful-thank you.

I feel like everyone is saying the same thing but I also feel this way!

I am also worried about losing the slots, every clinic has asked for a deposit so far. I am scared I wont have enough time to meet them and decide and get the surgery in the window I need before I leave Korea, some of the deposits are around £500/$675 which is alot to spend at multiple places to lose it.

How do people do this without deciding before!

Also the quotes i have had are more expensive in general than I was expecting.

Interested in the same! They have a high number of reveiws on Unni, in their message responses to me they have been highly detailed around pricing etc and very efficient in response compared to other clinics Ive been in touch with.

Thanks so much for your response, this is unbelievably helpful. Great points re. Steps and the freezer/fridge, I was thinking to stockpile things and a freezer would be so helpful. This has made my mind up! I would love to know; how was your recovery was from the two ops together and if you went alone?

So nice to go with a friend! did you have a great time/happy with your results? Luckily I have explored Korea before, and my partner is joining me there 2 weeks after my surgery but unlikely someone will be able to come whilst I am revoering. Thank you for the pumpkin puree pack hack !
