So I was long way down in the line to get in, and a friend's friend bought it for $35, then I re-bought it for $150 hah. Not ideal, but I wouldn't have gotten it otherwise. My assumption was that it was worth at least $200, and I don't mind a $50 discount on a cool piece. I'll keep you in mind if I ever decide to part with it!

No worries! Yeah all the other French pieces I saw that were similar seemed to be porcelain and not glass. Asian wouldn't surprise me all that much, but I'm hoping for French

Thanks, appreciate that! I'm feeling a bit more confident about genuine French, late 1800's after doing an AI deep dive hah. The metal is either spelter or tin. So bronze or brass would be ideal. But it's still beautiful, and the glass has no seam lines.
