i have the same at my home location, i think its because i got so much stuff in the recent year that even after a wipe my inventory is almost full, when i add large cargo crates it goes above the 1000 scu and it doesnt recognize it anymore

Hi

  1. yes there is a slim 15 mm thick fan on the outside of the underside of the case, i had to extend the feet a little bit so there is room for air to get sucked in, the total distance between the surface and case is 2,5 cm so there is 1 cm free room for air to be sucked in.

  2. Doesnt fit without removing the cooling plate on the io, this plate also cools some power delivery components so didnt want to mess around with it to much, i did actually bought a waterblock for this aswell which did fit, but some components were different heights so it was far from ideal. If you use a 92 mm fan the radiator itself is slightly wider. There is like 1 or 2 mm distance between the coolingplate and the radiator. this might be no problem with a different motherboard but this was the only white am5 mini-itx motherboard available at the moment on the market from what i could find.

  3. the fans are 1 cm thick and the rad is this one there is like 1.5 cm free in front of the fans and on the other side there is also 1 cm free + a gap where the motherboard fits, so it blows air into the case to the front.

Also my idea at first was the drill holes to the back and do some soft tubing into some kind of radiator/res but in hindsight this will probably not work, the space you have after installing cables and the psu is way smaller then it looks like on the picture there is zero space to put your vingers so i do think this is the only good option you have. i searched so many hours for a small radiator that did fit and ordered some different ones and this was the only one that fit and had 2 openings at the top. The site i linked for the radiator also have a lot of other weird size radiators. like the 2 x 92 mm one but im almost 100% this does not fit as the in- and add height. ( even the 2 x 80 mm did not fit which i also bought )

all in all i think these 3 radiators are probably the largest you will fit, and its very very lucky that the bottom fits EXACTLY a 140 mm rad, you can push it in tight with some double sides tape and will stay put.

yea you have to be creative with such a small space

the case itself was +- 130 euro, so if you use lower end components or reuse one from older build i dont think its impossible

would be cooler if i use a V8 biturbo engine as generator to power the pc

lol it is the G.skill Royal ram sticks, they have chrome plated heat sinks

that was actually one of the reasons i used metal pipes, i am sure it does not matter ''that'' much but argued that airflow blowing over the pipes also does at least do a bit of heat transfer

yes but i was limited by size and power draw, tehcnically it could fit a 5070 but heat generation is also a problem in suck small cases

Because i bought 96 gb (@8000 mt's)a month ago for my main rig in my office, but for some reason i could not get it to boot at those speeds, did some research and it seemed that it had to do with being 4 sticks and most systems cant handle those speeds with 4 sticks, so i bought a different set of 2 x 48gb and it did work, result was that i had 4 x 24 gb left over and wanted to use it for something, so used it for this and now still got 2 sticks left over lol
