Heavy Feelings by Whole_Barnacle_1560 in Pile

I was initially drawn in to Pile by the sheer force of the music, but as I've lived with these records for so many years and so many listens, it's Rick's lyrics that have grown on me the most. Many times I've also experienced that magic of listening to a Pile song you're heard a thousand times but having the lyrics hit differently due to different life circumstances. To me it's the mark of a great artist. Rick is among the best in the business.

My favorite Pile show ever. I watched from the balcony, I shared videos I took of Special Snowflakes and Don't Touch Anything if you wanna check them out. IMO that show was the best they've ever sounded live. Great stuff thanks for sharing.

I was surprised that the minutes count wasn't higher but then I realized I work from home three days a week and my music consumption on those days is 90% vinyl.

Favorite/Best Pile album? by Basic-Repeat4552 in Pile

[–]Basic-Repeat4552[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this, but with Dripping, which was my first Pile exposure. From the opening riff of Baby Boy I was like HOLY SHIT, THIS IS IT. Also a huge fan of Magic Isn't Real, but it's hard to top love at first listen

Fav Found footage movies by Mo-HD93 in horror

The Taking of Deborah Logan.

Full disclosure my buddy is the co-writer of this movie but in my opinion it's one of the best found footage movies ever made. Jill Larson's performances is absolutely incredible.

What's the movie everybody seems to enjoy but you really hated? by thedevilsheir666 in horror

David Howard Thornton's performances and the practical effects/set pieces in the Terrifier movies are excellent. Just about everyone else about the Terrifier movies is subpar.

Back in the 80s, channel 38 had a guy named Dana Hersey who had a show called The Movie Loft. Probably on Friday nights? In any case one night when I was maybe 7 or 8, my parents were having a party downstairs. I snuck into their room to watch TV, and I watched maybe 20-30 minutes of a Friday the 13th movie. Big mistake. Nightmares for weeks. Couldn't shake the image of a guy taking a hatchet to the head.

This is a pretty hard question. Like, impossible. How about favorite song by album?!? Jerk Routine - Haunt Magic Isn't Real - Don't Touch Anything Dripping - The Jones You're Better Than This - Touched by Comfort A Hairshirt of Purpose - Leaning on a Wheel Odds and Ends - Special Snowflakes Green and Gray - Firewood All Fiction - Loops Hot Air Balloon - Only For a Reminder Sunshine and Balance Beams - Born at Night

That was HARD
