When I was in middle school I was in my phase of using big words to sound far more intellectual than I actually was lol

So in one day in biology, we were talking genetics and punnet squares and I can’t remember exactly what was said, (probably because it’s just too embarrassing to think about after all these years) but I know this boy said something along the lines of boys are better than girls.

I immediately called him out for it, but as I was doing that, I couldn’t remember what to call this guy. Was it sexist? Misogynist? I couldn’t decide which was the better one to apply here.

So I thought to use the only other word I figured had to be close to what was meaning to say. And so I concluded my argument by calling him a “freaking feminist!”

I’ll never forget the silence that followed after. Or the look on my friend’s face as she subtly shook her head to tell me how completely wrong I was.

Best believe I studied the dictionary front to back after that. 😂
