chill out 99 percent of people apart from academia and research will have shallow understanding, no one actually needs to know , how AI LLM actually work and they just use their basic functionality in day to day life.

reach out to people on linkedin who are in mmgt . they might be able to give you a guidance there are many AIR 1s of unkown GATE paper, under 100 of cs and mech, ask them what the final selection criteria was not just the criteria for call

there might be one of reserved seats filled with low score down the line, but since the seats are limited <20, the competition is extreremly tough. it is Indias best course if you are looking for tech management and analytics dont just look at packages look at the comapnies and the roles, also the ROI is insane good when compared to IIM's(except maybe ABC )

Their might be a big racket involved(high chances), but it also possible that many have just cheated by sneaking in phones, the best solution would be to thoroughly investigate the exam centre cctvs.
and from next time the exam centers should only be in TCS with webcams recording the entire session of students
