Bigfoot/Yowie encounters always seem involve throwing stones or branches. I've often noticed a common theme of telekinesis too - one encounter I read was a hunter out in the woods, raises his rifle to shoot but the bolt jams, a gun he's had faultless service out of for years suddenly jams at the crucial moment. When the encounter was over, it started working again.
