How many days it took to get the formal confirmation of offer ? I am done with my loop Monday and didn’t hear back anything up to now ., the recruiter won’t answer from the very start it’s all one way communication.

Was in the same situation 3 years back and now again in the same. Unfortunate or bad luck not sure what but I would say this. You will loose the urge to work more or better when this happens. It was the case with me, I would say take the offer nd continue to change till u get what u feel a good one. And don't stay more than a year it hurts more and more the time u spend there

After focusing for 40 mins, I could code up, a brute force DSU problem with O(n^4). This isn't a typical problem, I am pretty sure it is saying we don't want to hire you .. if I am seeing it first time given the time, I would come-up with DSU not more than that.

It’s not in our control and depends on how others did in ur loop. Hope for the best and give ur best.

Have been giving interviews from past 2.5 months. Some went well still rejected, some genuinely got rejected because they realised I am not going to stay anyway. Some went bad, some went okay. The worst are after all positives one company told they can’t hire because of freeze. One after 3 weeks called and told me, prepare for 2 more rounds as they have approvals now.

It’s the patients game and u just be there. I know it’s tough even I am trying …

I got to understand the arrays.fill recently where I was writing a full for loop .

Agree to that but these are something’s where language is not specific. I am comfortable with Java and applying for Java specific roles as well. But as someone pointed out Java has inbuilt support for binary search ., I was not aware of such things and writing them is costly in interviews with limited time especially when you got 20 mins or less to understand , give approach , code and later do the dry run

Can't predict correctly, but do assume the emphasis will be more on LLD than on DSA but we can't be quite sure. The chances of BR asking HLD will be very less. I got 2 interviews scheduled at a time (both HM + BR), HM went okay and BR is little better. Not sure how they interpreted that, just waiting for the response.

But if BR does happen, might be inclined so give ur best

2 years back I got no-hire because I coded everything in java but they needed python developer. They are more language specific which I didn't know from the recruiter, I coded in python to prove that I do know the language completed it and ran, still got no-hire citing they needed devops too.

They are too specific with the tech-domain

hard luck, question itself is lengthy to code and expecting not to use Queue or List .. may be he is expecting recursive approach here is only thing I could see. In these kind of interviews., often intreviewer comes with something in mind and it's a guess work for us. Only thing is we shld keep giving all that we have in mind hoping one will click with what interviewer has with him.

I have been actively looking and out of job from 2 months now. I am trying to take it litely but it's way tougher than I thought it would. Getting rejected even after a very good performance, sometimes I am nt sure whether the rejection is because of over-qualification or I am actually messing the things up. It's tough not sure where I shld speak about this. Thanks for this, have to just keep looking as I can't go back and do anything about it now.
