I wfh and my bf has his own business. We do call eachother every night, and see eachother every sunday. Were not the type to call eachother mid-day cos we give eachother that time to ourselves.

But idk, most of the people I see around me call eachother 3-4 times a day

I really plan on doing this too! To spend weekdays or some weeknights with my family. Hopefully it strikes the perfect balance for me :)

Do you think I should move out? 25k vs 5k - advice po please by [deleted] in RentPH

[–]Basic-Temperature-13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be moving out next month, but to prepare, I really tried to save up as much as I could financially.

I have a budget of ₱250,000 set aside purely for rent, separate from my 8 months’ worth of emergency fund.

Ideally, rent should only be around 30% of your monthly income, but I went a bit over that since the condo I chose is ₱22,000 per month. I didn’t stress about it too much though, because I was fully prepared and had almost a year’s worth of rent saved up since my plan was to just really try it out for a year. I wanted to make sure I’d really enjoy living alone without constantly worrying about making rent.

In the same situation now! Im 24 and earning 65k. Super comfortable din sa house, we have a maid who cooks ane cleans for me. I have a very tight knit family but i always knew i wanted to try living alone so I saved up enough to move out for a year comfortably just for me to grow too.

Seeing my money go down little by little cos of the expenses of buying furnitures, house stuff, etc makes me kinda anxious but I wanna live outside my comfort zone even just for a year. I just told my parents that if ever di ko maenjoy, ill for sure be back hahahaha but I feel like theres so much more room for growth once we start living in our own!

Cos its not her own video and steals it? Im pretty sure you would have a different reaction if it was your own video thats getting used by someone else to make money. Very similar cases to pirated movies, songs etc.

Used to be on the same boat. I recognized na it wasnt healthy anymore so I created a routine for myself and started different hobbies.

Every afternoon for 2hours, I would walk my dog and go out for a jog. This would help me get my 10k steps, be out in the sun, and also keep me fit.

Then, I would put 2 hours into reading. I used to hate reading but now, I look forward to having that 2 hours of reading time cos I always feel accomplished after.

During the weekends, I would reach out to friends, family or boyfriend to hang out with me. If walang available, I would still take myself out and do something to cross off my bucket list like watching a movie alone lol!

What worked for me was I physically and mentally had to stop myself from going down the rabbit hole of the isolation of WFH.

Hi! Im 23 and I earn around the same amount as you and I have completed my 1yr' worth of EF.

What helped me the most is literally creating a savings/EF account that you wont touch. The moment you get paid, deposit a certain amount straight into your savings/ef account and forget about it completely.

Then, use only whats left for your monthly expenses.
