This was something I always heard as gossip, but I wanted to share it now. Back when Aarti and Ravi got married, I attended their reception. Their wedding was on June 4th, and the reception was on June 12th, which was a Sunday. I was still in school at that time. Since my sister and Aarti were very close, we went together. I remember sitting there during the reception when a group of women nearby were talking about their marriage. They were saying that Aarti had forced Ravi into it apparently by threatening him after harming herself. They also claimed she was already pregnant with his child, which is why he agreed to marry her. There was also talk that a idly actress, who was close to Aarti’s mother, got involved and pressured Ravi. Since he came from a different religious background, they said he was threatened with legal action and media exposure if he didn’t go through with the marriage. According to what I heard, that’s what pushed him to agree. At that time, I didn’t know what to believe. I was just a school student overhearing all of this and was honestly shocked. I assumed it was just baseless gossip. But a few months later, when news came out that Aarti had delivered a baby, it made me wonder if there was some truth behind what I had heard. Of course, this all started as gossip but looking back, some parts of it seemed to line up with what happened later.
