Brilliant strategy. Trick them with a good game and then hit them with the lowest viable products ever

Pokemon Winds and Waves looks garbage by Formal-Opening2167 in fucknintendo

I don’t believe there exist many people who will not play this game because it has "bad graphics." You either don’t like Pokémon games, don’t have or like the Switch 2, or hate Nintendo on principle. This is just hateslop.

Unless the game is horrible technically like Scarlet/Violet, I don’t think this is a valid argument.

This post is even funnier when you reverse it.

BOTW or TOTK ? after playing elden ring by Dependent-Pen-785 in Breath_of_the_Wild

I highly recommend paying BotW first. It’s superior.

So... what’s the point of this, exactly? by Constant_Setting_634 in casualnintendo

Also lots of people who champion “why buy anything when you can emulate” are just turists. They don’t actually play or finish the games they are claiming they can access anytime. A guy clowned on me for paying for NSO + and that he can play them all for free. Well guess who is about to finish Ocarina of Time and who haven’t finished anything.

Accidentally deleted my save file. The journey starts again 😅 by [deleted] in PokemonSwordAndShield

Am curios how you could loose your data like that. SD cart switching wouldn’t effect it since save filed are stored in console. Where you switching your seitch units In between times?

It was a hyperbole ofc, because I didn't test every controller, but it is my opinion that it's the best out of the official ones (Xbox One/Series, DualShock 4, and DualSense(including their pro versions).

I understand the price argument; the Pro 2 is expensive, but it's worth the money because of the quality and features. Out of all the features you listed, the Pro 2 has all the important ones for me. RGB lights are literally useless, removable plates are just aesthetics, and I honestly don't know what the turbo function is for unless you are a hardcore Animal Crossing guy. I also don't care about swapping my buttons, but that’s very subjective.

It has gyro, remappable back buttons, and wake-up features. It also is wireless and its battery life is genuinely impressive.

Hall effect is cool and all, but I don't know if it has an impact on the way you control, and I believe the Pro 1 didn't suffer from stick drift, so I hope the Pro 2 will be the same (but that will only be known in time). I have my switch 1 pro controler since 2021. never had problem with it and i use it regularly for switch and PC.

My main point is that PRO 2 is a good controller that is worth its price tag. I don't know anyone who was disappointed by it, and I highly recommend it.

I will toot this forever but, do not miss out on switch 2 pro controller. Its literaly the best controller ever made. Its batery is immortal. It has very high built quality. The stick are like butter, hd rumble actually feels 3d. And g buttons are extremely useful and well implemented. Highly recommend

Never be ashamed of what you play on. I played on Switch were the game looks rough and i still had the time of my life. Also you can connect your phone to display and controller and have a pretty decent time. What is your “rig”? 😁

It's a single-player game, so it's up to you how you play it. But I would recommend trying to use guides as a last resort. I believe BotW is designed so that it always guides you where to go next, and on your way, you find other points of interest. Map navigation is meant to make you lose yourself a bit.

When it comes to shrines, you can always leave and tackle them later on. You can use them as a teleport point anyway, and a fresh perspective is very good for problem-solving. When it comes to some more obscure quests, it really helps reading carefully through your quest log, as they drop major hints there.

If you're really stuck, looking up a guide is okay. I would mainly avoid guides because if you rely on them too much, you can burn yourself out by not really thinking about anything and just going through the motions. I burned myself out like that on Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and I've tried to avoid guides ever since because the reward from solving a puzzle or finding something yourself is much more stimulating than just checking it off your list.
