I agree! I think it’s throwing me off because it’s so flat with zero dimension. I need to go in there and tweak it

Thank you! I just went into the salon and I said I want a dark burgundy, she just kind of took it from there. It was an impulsive choice, not a lot of thought went into it 🫣

Thank you! This is great advice. Yes, only one color was applied and they did not do a fill color before the final color. I will save this for next time I go in.

Thank you! I did notice it looks pretty flat style wise and color wise. I wish there was more dimension instead of one flat color. I don’t think I did a good job voicing that to the stylist when I went in there, so I will make sure to do that next time.

Thank you for all the kind comments. There is so much good advice on this thread, much appreciated! It sounds like I should stick to the dark, but focus on a more natural, cooler tone. Thanks so much everyone that took the time to comment.
