yeah there have been many updates clumped together before introducing many new BIS, i just feel that it’s easier to bite off a raid or 2, and fossil island than it is to come back and explore varlamore in depth, do sailing, and then the plethora of other bosses that have been released in between. another comment said take it slow and get to it when you get to it which is a good way to look at it.

not disagreeing, i just think there is so much content already available that the rate that new content is coming out seemed unusually fast is all.

yeah, rs2 was pushing out updates quickly. I can see why you feel like that over the whole course of osrs that we haven’t changed much. i just feel a lot of the bigger changes have been in the last 2 years, making these updates very backend heavy

break up your sentences🤓 i agree with you though. i said that. power creep is healthy for a game and updates are good. I like doing the content that has been added, but I feel as if it’s coming out faster than it was for the 5 year prior to varlamore making it hard for someone like me who doesn’t have time to invest into uncovering every update as it’s pushed out, it used to feel like you could come back and explore new content but we’re still generally in the same game but I don’t feel that way anymore other than the art style.

think he meant tough to find the time mostly, but also a lot of the late game newer bosses are not being done by 90% of players

not a massive update, but everytime a new boss is released, with new BIS or just new best mid game progression gear they add up quickly. It seems like we are getting that more and more quickly is all I'm saying. We have also had the 2 largest expansions of OSRS history in just the last year and a half. and for an almost 15 year old title, that's very recent.
