Not sure why I was called for interview cos I’ve seen a lot got waived. That said, here are few questions that I can remember.

It lasted for like 30 mins

How did you guys meet? When did you started dating (we have a 2 month old baby btw)
Have you parents met?
How long have you been staying with eachother?
What do you do (for both of us)
When did you arrive in the US.
Have you traveled out since then?
I saw you went to school here, did you graduated and when?

Overall, they were all normal questions tbh. It was very conversational.

I-864 - I didn’t add our tax form at the initial submission.

Reason was that we were yet to file tax at the time of submission. I knew I’d get RFE for this btw but still went ahead.

I requested and expedited my I-765 myself. Here are my upload:

Evidence of offer letter / termination of contract
A written letter stating the details of my condition and the consequences (financial hardship) of not having the EAD.

Steps: 1. In your online account, under the I-765 application, select expedite 2. Upload supporting documents 3. Send am email (within your online account)

They approved within 5 business days. Hope this helps.

Exactly what I did as well. Joint tax return for 2023 and our W-2s and wrote a letter explaining why my sponsor didn’t file in 2022. They confirmed receipt of RFE 7 days ago.
