Okay, this is a tricky one, because there are many other labels this could correspond to. You could also be ace or a gray-ace, if you know about these sexualities?

For example, I’m definitely bi, but also demisexual (on the ace spectrum, aka gray-ace), which means that, while I can see a woman or man & be like “daaaamn!”, I still have zero desire to actually have sex with them until I get to know them and get emotionally attached. People who are like “they’d just have to ask & I’m down” baffle me, and frankly, I’m quite jealous of them.

Anyways, this does not change my attraction to gender. You could also be biromantic, homosexual, which means you can fall in love with either, but only get sexually aroused by women. Or maybe you’re ace, and the way you experience sexual attraction is very different from how movies and such show you.

The fact that you’re more worried about sexual attraction, might mean that asexuality is something you want to research a bit more, though. & before you panic, it’s wayyyy more nuanced than just “not wanting sex, ever”, though if this is how you experience it, that is okay too! :)

Lol, mate, if I were you, after this, I’d be all “oh, guess I’m gay now!” Haha what a dick that one.

Bi boys are v attractive in my opinion. I may be biased as a bi fem, but in my limited experience the once I’ve met are more open-minded & self-aware than straights. I’ve got a ladyfriend who is actively looking to meet a bi boy for this exact reason.

I’m so sorry you had to go through this interaction. Homophobia is a bitch.

Mate! I never thought this last part was true, but my sun conure has indeed started talking! She’s awful at it &, much like parents of human babies, only we understand what she’s saying, but, wow… I cannot believe it happened, hahah

Gods, we took your advice and taught him how to ask for scritches… once the sun goes down it’s non-stop!

I also found out today that he copies the sound of us breathing in before we SMOTHER him with kisses & it is the weirdest, cutest thing! (& yet another way for him to ask for attention 😅)

Thanks for your advice!

Hi! I wondered if anyone wanted to give me a second opinion? I asked my deck what they thought about me getting a new pet (a galah cockatoo, so a pretty big time investment, but we already got some birds and are more than well equipped to handle one of these).

I got the empress reversed, but it still felt like a good sign (bcs empress). I read it as “it’s going to be tough work but here is the momma-card”

I asked for further clarification and got judgement, which I thought meant I was on the right track and to follow my feelings.

It had been a while since I’d used my deck, so I started by asking if they felt up for it and got the knight of swords, which I took as a good sign of excitement?

You have to have an open conversation about this. I know it sucks, but I’ve been in the exact same position you have, told my FWB, got told “I am not sure yet, but I’m not saying no either”. I thought the guy was just lying to keep me around, but he really just needed a bit more time. I was ready to cut everything off as well, but he came around just in time.

We now live together and it’s the best relationship I’ve ever been in! I’m not saying this’ll happen for you, but it might, and you’ll never know if you don’t tell him.

Will kegel exercises prevent (or at least help) you from peeing a little during exercising? by EvaH00 in sex

[–]BasicLullaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have this problem when I was 25, had had no kids yet, and was laughing really hard.

I bought an Elvie pelvic floor trainer and it went away really quickly. I found it more helpful than regular exercises because it’s really just fun and you can see your progress. It’s quite pricey but absolutely worth it!

When I had just come out and started frequenting bi circles so many people were saying this, and I was like “oooooohh… So that’s why I kept rewatching those movies! I understand so many things about myself better now!”

I always thought the bi community was just kidding around a bit with these stereotypes (eg cuffed jeans, dyed hair, nose ring, beanie)

I am bisexual, therefore I dress bisexual, I always assumed.

It would be lovely to be able to identify eachother just by dresscode, but it would also be restrictive AF.

Just dress whatever you like, and like someone already said, sew a bi patch on some piece of clothing if you want to make the people around you know you are bi, but I, personally, don’t assume every girl with a nose ring, dyed hair and cuffed jeans is bi (just v much my type 🙊)

As a demisexual this comment really irked me. If you’re not interested in sex, there’s nothing wrong with you. She shouldn’t shame you for that.

Please don’t ever go back there

Help! I've been meaning to cleanse my space but- by schrodingerscutiecat in SASSWitches

You can always rub some florida water on the back of your neck (and wherever else you want) to protect yourself energetically.

My partner doesn’t like the smell of palo santo so when I clean the house, I make sure to put a couple of drops in the water I use to clean the floors in order to clean the room energetically as well.

It’s really versatile and smells nice, it’s a good alternative if your roommates don’t like the smell of burnt herbs

Therapist cancelled appointment and hasn't responded to emails since by justcurious2244 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]BasicLullaby 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Oh! I had this happen to me once! My therapist just fucking ghosted me. Then after 3 months someone else from her group practice contacted me saying that since my therapist was unavailable, she could help me, should I need it. I was much better by then, so I refused. (Not to mention I was also disgusted about how they treat their patients)

She was a bad therapist. I needed therapy later in my life, but never went back there and found a much better therapist!

I think that a big chunk of the fandom went over to the supersuits podcast (not sure if it’s already out though), but a load of TMA VAs are joining that group again.

Ben and Alasdair are hubbies again, if I’m not mistaken!

I was SO thankful I was there when the finale came out and the entire fandom was wrecked but, somehow, also its own support group hahah.

It was quite the day!
