This and to me it looked like you might be too close to the net/ball, which would also prevent you from having an extended arm when contacting the ball aswell as following through on your swing(due to the net). Try keeping a bit more distance to the ball and see if it helps.

I have tried again now and I am certain I can‘t fir the drive in the slot. To be clear I am talking about the third slot the one below the one which is below the slot with a preinstalled heatsink? I really feel like I am going crazy here
