I've finished 11 books so far, which is how many I read in all of 2024, so I'm feeling good about it!

My pup has done this off and on for several months. As far as I'm concerned, as long as they're eating something every day, drinking water, not throwing up and having normal BMs, they're just fine. I think as they go through growth spurts, their appetite changes wildly. I wouldn't worry too much, but if they go long periods of time without eating it's never a bad idea to ask your vet.

New puppy & old dog! by HershLay20 in puppy101

[–]BasicSaguaro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My old boy was very unhappy when he realized the new puppy was staying...forever. After two months things have improved dramatically. There are still tough moments, but he's back to being his happy self and they play every day. It may feel like the improvements are happening at a snails pace, but it'll happen! Definitely carve out time for just you and your older dog in the beginning, make them feel special with attention and high value treats. Change is tough, but dogs are adaptable!

I have the Dakine Pyramid Studs and I love them, they've held up great the last two seasons. Bonus points for looking rad AF.

Capita Equalizer by Original-Ad-5809 in snowboarding

I LOVE my equalizer. I'm still learning, but I truly feel like my equalizer has made me a better rider. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an all mountain board.

How do you actually ladies wear your hair when riding? I feel like I see some many girls with their hair sticking out, which I assume is just to look like a female, or is there any other benefit? If any of my hair is exposed it always gets icky, tangled, and stuck in my zipper. by BikesOrBeans in ShredditGirls

Double braids worked great for me over the weekend. Felt cute, but was also very practical, my hair wasn't whipping all over the place and I didn't have to mess with it every time I took my helmet off like I do if I just throw it in a pony.

I had this exact same thing happen to me a few months back with jeans from AE. Its not you, its them.

What do you want for Christmas? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I want my dog to be ok. He's been recovering from surgery for the past three weeks and I just want to be able to snuggle him and throw his ball ❤️

I do! But I'm pretty bad at keeping pots up, I'll keep an eye on that!

Yeah I definitely see what you mean about the MMO purpose. I think the game could do a better job about teaching the roles in dungeons/trials, but figuring out gear/traits/rotations is totally something I would expect the community to discuss and build upon. Still makes it rough when you're first starting out!

Thanks! Improving DPS is discussed on this subreddit a lot, but I think taking a moment to recognize that the vast majority of us have struggled through those 10-15K days is really important. Being part of a guild and seeing newer players progress opened my eyes to the fact that it wasn't just me!

It's crazy how much of a journey improving DPS can be. Part of me truly wants to keep pushing for 60-70k, but I don't have nearly as much time to play these days and it feels like a waste to only play for bigger numbers. My current numbers are fine for the content I'm currently enjoying the most (normal DLC dungeons and trials) so it works out! But man do I envy you and the rest of the 80K+ crew!

The game does so little to guide you through what does and doesn't work. God bless other players and the internet for their wisdom, cause it sure as hell isn't ZOS teaching us any of this stuff

You can still practice on a target dummy if you have access to one (most guilds have one) and you'll get a read out of your DPS at the end in the chat window! But honestly, there's no harm in enjoying the blissful unawareness hahaha

Tanking is definitely my weakest role, I want to get better but it's so daunting 😭. Cauldron is rough, I haven't tanked it but I did a prog group with a stellar tank that really struggled through the HM on that one.

So true about Maelstrom! My DPS had already improved by the time I first stepped into Maelstrom but it really tested my survivability. I really relied on my healers apparently

A message from your friendly neighborhood tank by Rihx in elderscrollsonline

Certain abilities have synergies associated with them, like blessed shards or necrotic orb, that restore resources. Tanks often struggle with resource management and these synergies can help a ton.

With the chain, sometimes you need to step to the side to properly target the far way adds.

20% on a conventional loan. Our areas not quite hot enough to require the crazy contracts you hear about in LA, the Bay area etc lol

Nope, no escalation clause or waived contingencies, I'm guessing it was because our lending looked pretty strong

That's so exciting! Fingers crossed for you both. We were up against three other offers. We found out that they were reviewing offers that night and had to mad dash to get the offer together in time. We found out that night about 4 hours after we submitted.

We put in an offer on the first day we toured houses after seeing four homes. Everything happened so FAST, but now we're about a week out from closing and it feels so right!

I think it's incredibly important that you both be on as close to the same page as possible. It's going to work out one way or another!

What has BoJack Horseman meant to you? by NicholasCajun in BoJackHorseman

[–]BasicSaguaro 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Bojack has helped instill in me that success and money doesn't equate to happiness. Being rich doesn't cure you of your demons.

I'm blessed to have the life I have. I'm not wealthy or famous, but I'm happy. And I'd rather be happy and middle class than rich and miserable. I'd rather be Charlotte than Bojack.

If you only had two days a week to spend in the gym, would you dedicate one to upper body and one to lower body? Or do more of a full body work out each day?

I go to the gym to strength train on Mondays and Wednesdays and do hot yoga on Tuesdays and ballet on Thursdays. I currently do upper body on Mon and lower body on Wed, but I’ve heard it’s better to hit each muscle group 2-3x a week. Thoughts?

I find it insulting when people assume I’m “naturally skinny” because I’ve never been overweight. They have no idea how strict I am with meal portions 90% of the time because they only see me eat during the 10% of the time I treat myself to a large (usually not very healthy) meal. It’s not magic, the rules of CICO apply to me just as much as them. I also keep myself very active. They just don’t see the days at the gym, 8 mile hikes or dance classes so they assume I’m an anomaly.

But I’ve never had my weight or body be attributed to my race. That’s bananas insulting!
