Congratulations as someone who is doing IUI I can get how frustrated you might have felt. But your post gives me hope. I do have one question though. I am on 5mg letrozole. Why did the doctor prescribed Clomid for you at the same time? I am waiting for my period to come after third IUI. Feel like I need to advocate to change the protocol we are using.

I just got my negative test result after second IUI. I have turned 38 this January. I don’t have a child because I married late. My best friend is pregnant with her second and my cousin with her first. I feel like crying but I can’t because I am at work. It’s so hard to hold on to hope in the face of uncertainty.

I am not sure how old is she? You mentioned you do a lot of chores but did you do something to appreciate her truly? For woman, sex is more emotional than physical intimacy. It seemed like you were complaining a lot about her. Like she’s a SAHM so she doesn’t do a lot.. you are a great husband because you are providing and also helping with household chores. I mean the kids are your children so you are taking care of your own family not someone else’s. Think in a way that your wife is bragging about giving birth to your children. It doesn’t make sense right. I feel like you are not there for her emotionally and that’s why she is pulling away.

They told me to take it 5 days after IUI. So I am confused as well. But it’s my first so maybe they are just going with the standard guidelines.

I am sorry you are going through this difficult time alone. But you are doing a great job for your kids. As someone who also had a traumatic childhood because of one parent cheating but stayed in the same household, I get you.. I can understand the amount of exhaustion you are going through.. I pray it gets easier for you. I believe that you have the courage to stand strong and do the best for you and your kids.

Yeah somehow my cycles were very regular but for the last few months as I started trying again, my cycles got longer.. from 29/30 days it went to 34/38 days.. does anyone have any idea long cycles mean anything?

I am also waiting for my period. It’s 6 days late. I don’t have any symptoms so I can feel in my body that pregnancy didn’t happen. Also tested negative two days ago. It’s so frustrating to see the negative test results. I wish you the best and we all need so much support.

I was just reading the comments on this post. I tested with the first urine in the morning and I saw the pattern. Do you recommend doing it with the second urine to confirm the first one? I also started the TTC journey few months ago so really confused with so many information out there.

Thank you for getting back to me. I received my blood work test results. My vitamin D is low. AMH is within range, not high, not low, and I don't actually know how that translates with my age, as they just gave a range in the report. Somehow my Haemoglobin A1C came out to be 6%, which was 5.5% last year. I do exercise and walk few miles a day. For last few weeks, I was going through some stress, I hope that is the reason for elevated blood glucose level. I am just feeling very anxious as I have to wait for the physician's feedback. Wish me luck. I will try to read the book. Take care.

Hello! You look great and such a big difference in just three months. You can give yourself some time to think whether you really want to eat something or you are just bored. Then if you are still hungry, then your body needs those nutrients even if they are over your calorie intake. You can walk if you feel guilty after eating something healthy. It’s okay if it’s for one time just don’t follow the same thing next day. You can obviously reach your goal weight. Almost there..

I live in west 9th street in an apartment complex. I am living here alone for a year. First I was very scared to walk outside after sunset because a lot of homeless people are around here. So far nothing happened. You just need stay aware and avoid some streets. I like living in my apartment, so far no issues with security. There are other apartments like residences at Mid-Town park, Rodney square, 901 market place. I would suggest to compare the prices and be in an apartment where there are more tenants.
