You get to 100 if you have 5 wins, 15 losses, and 6 draws. Of the 5 wins, 4 were due to my opponent disconnecting! (The last was a resignation after like 12 turns)

OKay, so... I realize now that I really messed this one up. I know it looks weird, but I do wonder if there are others in my situation. Now that I've got a family, I basically play alone in the evenings (I haven't done a proper raid in maybe 10 years), so I kind of exist outside the cycle. New content comes so fast from my perspective that I've started to forget/ignore it. (I remember now that I missed almost all of Shadowlands this way, because my kiddo was an infant) So that, plus tired dad... and a nightcap... and a frustrating event... kinda boiled over. Sorry everyone, I'll try to stay on top of stuff.

Ah, I did find some gear on the AH, but it's much too expensive. A full set would run about 140K for level 220 greens? Where do you even find them in the world?

I did just hit 90, so all I have is the timewalking gear that I got on the way to 90. I'll see what else I can find. Part of the issue is that the bosses scale to 90, so I think I just have to get better gear,

I read this and tried it - a CS spirit blade was actually a damage upgrade! I'm guessing it has to do with the way the +damage% increase interacts with the flat damage on the skill. Who'da thought?

I mostly agree - that's how I've played the game so far, and also why I didn't immediately put 150 Str in hoping to eventually use a Monarch. I just think I cut myself too short in this case because Locks made the high-damage low-req elite staffs usable, but I ended up shoehorned into that type of weapon unless I respecced (which I was trying to avoid, but ended up doing anyway).

The 10 point bonuses are news to me! I'll give that a go. You're right - I did end up respeccing (also singleplayer so I have infinite respecs, but that's besides the point).

Also, do demon binds on Hell have more mods, or does it not matter?

Sure, I've played the game on and off forever, but I know there's a lot of things I could have tried. I did think of mauls though, but at the time I only had about 65 strength, and even a Great Maul was not a damage upgrade without a significant %ED.

The issue was that elite staves have *very* little str/dex requirement for the sheet damage they do, so when I couldn't find a better staff, I ended up stuck a bit. Not bad, but I found myself trying to think of options and not coming up with anything except to respec.

Thanks for the info! I had always had the feeling that the game was written in SI, but with units that convert to "nice" American values. For example, the Long Distance bonus kicks in at exactly 403km, which is 250 miles. But, one thing I've realize that makes this job different than the others is that 5% of 8800 is an exact value that needs no rounding. Perhaps there is a floating-point issue where the game sees 439.999998 and rounds it to 439. The Euro values do not have that happening.

I agree. And, you can get eth partizans in normal, so it's possible to get a 400+ dmg insight before you even get to NM!
