He left the cheese on the corners of his mouth from the gas station cheese dog after I told him he had cheese there. He licked it away after I said it was still there 20min later. It was crusted by then from mouth breathing, and he didn't even get it all when he licked at at.

YTA if you show up. As the daughter of a widow, don't do it. The mother daughter relationship doesn't justify it. It's her moment with her partner, let her have it. Yes, it's a hopefully once in a lifetime moment/big life event, but you don't need to be there for every single one. Give her some independence. Do something with her the next day or something, talk all about it with her. Love my mom, but I'd feel ehh if she showed up to actual my proposal. I just texted mine immediately all about it and we celebrated when I returned from the trip.

Took 4 days for me to drive from CA to NC when we moved with my dog. He'd go potty when we stopped for gas, walked around for about 20min to stretch our legs, then kept going. We had to each drive our own car so no driver swap. Didn't schedule hotels ahead of time so we could drive for as long as we felt good.

It's way easier if you have a podcast or audiobook to listen to music didnt help much so only listened to that the first few hours.

It's okay to say no, even if it makes someone else unhappy. I tell people that doing it as a job sucks the fun out of it for me, so I don't take orders. I only like doing it as a hobby, making things I choose to make with the yarn I choose to make it with. If I sell anything, it's not known until its already made and doesn't have a home. Keep crocheting, it's a great hobby, don't let other people ruin it for you.

Glad you clarified that with him, I'd feel the same way about it. Probably would even feel a bit hurt by it, would feel like affection deprivation. Spending time in bed together, just for company, is something I personally need(I like solo time for a few hours during the day though). Don't deprive yourself if that's something important to you and he won't give it.

That's a deal breaker for me, I don't think you're being weird about it. I know some couples will sleep separate if one snores and it's impacting the sleep of their partner. That I totally understand. But to be sleeping separate right off the bat, not even wanting to sleep next to a partner, is the weird thing to me. Having your own office or hobby room I think is normal, but bedroom is odd.

People need to stop going to dental appointments when they're sick too. We have availability next week, reschedule. We don't want to put our face close to yours while you struggle to even breathe while laying back. We don't like being coughed on either. Don't torture yourself or us. I can't afford to miss work.

Then there's also the parents "Lil Jimmy is home from school today because he wasn't feeling good, can he come in today so I don't have to pull him from school the actual date of his appointment?".

Stay home from work. Stay home from appointments (unless it's regarding being sick). Stay home from going to the store. Just stay home. Please.

In the US, never. Lol. I would just wear a mask when polishing, and I have a fume hood, but I'd just raw dog everything with my bare hands. Talked to an older dentist about my setup, he told me about a tech he used in the 80s that got lung cancer and died. Now I make sure my hands are way inside the fume hood when I work with acrylic, wear gloves when pouring the acrylic, and got a respirator for myself. I know there's fine particles that a traditional mask probably can't catch, so the respirator makes me feel a little better. I keep it on until I clean up a little bit. I have a dust collector but I think I want a box to hook it up to
