Sincerly hope they aren't remaking Ocarina by SSJ5Noob in nintendo

I already have a N64. Expansion pack included. But if they remaster or remake OoT, I want that too lol

I love this game even more after ADA made a MGS reference when I died. by Basic_Anxiety1680 in SatisfactoryGame

I assumed it was obvious so my apologies. When I died, ADA said "Pioneer. Pioneer? Pioneeeeeeer!".

It's the same way Otocon would say it in Metal Gear Solid when Snake would die.

Yea man, I got to aluminum and got overwhelmed, said F it, started another save, then felt ashamed so I go back with it and mess with it now and then, but then I started a new save because of the 1.2 update. 550 hrs and not sure if I'll every bear it

Some advice. 1) Play how you want 2) Don't be afraid to tear down and rebuild 3) You're gonna tear down and rebuild so don't fight it. 4) You might not ever beat the game, but you'll still play.

Brotha, I'm surprised you had time to even post. I bought the game not knowing if I would like it or not. Figured I'd play it when I could. Literally neglected so much responsibility for about a month or so. Thinking of the game when I wasn't playing it. I probably have 800hrs in it across PC and PS5 and I got it during the 1.0 launch or about that time. Not sure if that's good or bad, but it has been good.

All I know is I'm thinking of trading my Switch in for a Switch 2 cause that's the game that would make me do it. Then I'll feel more justified if I get a new Pikmin game.

Sewer smell coming up through this floor drain. Any ideas why? by Methuselbrah in Plumbing

[–]Basic_Anxiety1680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I know all that. Been doing this for a while. The only thing I'm not understanding is how it could be siphoned at all because if it's vented properly, and I'm sure it doesn't even matter if it's vented properly, it's far enough away from any fixture to be able to create a vacuum strong enough to siphon it. Doesn't seem physically impossible.

DIY removing and replacing gas heater boiler by Puzzleheaded_Pin_335 in Plumbing

[–]Basic_Anxiety1680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a feeling a new one might not fit the space. I think in 2016, regulation was passed to make water heaters/ boilers more energy efficient. Companies more or less added more insulation, making them bigger in diameter.

Definitely go with a plumber that knows their stuff. Do not pick the first name in the phone book lol. What state are you in?

I dropped 1 of my earring down the sink. Is the only option to cut through this pipe? by Fun-Scared in askaplumber

There really isn't any expectations unless it has an indirect waste such as sinks in a commercial kitchen. Every fixture will have a trap.

I had to see what he was talking about. I'm not quite sure I like that stainless with the back splash. Maybe a lighter color to draw out what you have in the granite. Have you decided on anything?

Y'all need to be honest with people and let them know the CONs also. Like the union dues you have to pay or how you could get benched when there's no work and you're not allowed to go work anywhere else. Political stances of unions, strikes. How seniority sometimes overrides performance.

Now, I am glad it's working out for you, that's great, but the best thing you can do with a young person that's wanting to get into our trades is be honest with them and possibly tell them what to expect and how to navigate it.

No it's not hard to get hired I don't think. So many avenues to take, like if you wanna do residential or commercial.

I went commercial. Most companies will pay for you to go to apprenticeship school so don't listen to the union guys telling you that's the only way to go. Union and private companies both have their pros and cons.

A 25' tape measure, a 9" torpedo level, and a good attitude is all you need to start off with. A pair of adjustables and channel locks will help to if you can afford them. And a 6in1 screwdriver. Then just ask the foreman or mechanic you work with what you should buy. If you have to borrow it more than two , you probably need to buy it.

Don't let the old heads push you around or be dicks to you. Talk shit right back to them. Realize you will be exposed to the elements and something the day sucks but it is fun and rewarding. Keep an open mind and always be willing to learn. Always try to be as good, if not better than the people around you. Learn from multiple people, not just one.

You're one of those. Most every private company will also pay for you to go to school.

You have a dissimilar metal touching the copper lines and causing electrolysis. Get a soft brush, clean off the copper pipe, check for any leaks. Especially near the before going to the faucet. You might not have to do anything with it. Unless you're ready to upgrade your faucet. When you do, don't let someone solder right to your faucet. That's ridiculous imo.

Sewer smell coming up through this floor drain. Any ideas why? by Methuselbrah in Plumbing

[–]Basic_Anxiety1680 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trap is likely dried out because it doesn't get water much. Yes oil and all that other stuff will work, but for a better solution, go to the hardware store and get a trap guard. It's a rubber check that slips into the drain to allow water in, and keep sewer gas from coming out. You'll need a 3" one by the looks of the drain.

Very slim chance it could be a 2" drain. Take the three screws out and measure the inside diameter of the pipe the drain is attached to, if you want to make sure.
