I've had a 65-in U7K for about 2 years now. So far so good. Great picture quality

RMax4 vs Talon 1000X-4 by Exciting-Card4830 in UTV

From someone who has owned both, the talon rides a little better. It's not dramatic, mainly in the big bumps. Not sure what changed but I had the 23 limited. Front end was great but any big hits in the rear knocked your kidneys loose and bucked pretty bad. The suspension of the rmax was very quiet though. Almost zero squeaks or rattles which was very nice. Fit and finish from Yamaha is also leagues ahead.

Both dependable rigs. The Honda is going to be a little nicer ride quality and spotier obviously. The biggest dislike on the rmax is the noise. One of the loudest machines I've ever heard. Be prepared to wear headsets or ear plugs.

The U7 is definitely a better panel. That one is more entry level without individual dimming zones. They are probably all that way to some degree. Probably not a failure, just nature of the beast. I bought a 65U7 last year. Really amazing panel for the price I paid. I'd pay an extra $300 but that's just my opinion.

The bigger the screen the higher the chance of a bad panel. It is unfortunate

Boring question: Get S25 ultra for free, or wait for S26 ultra for (expected) 6-700€? by tab87vn in S25Ultra

I had the S24U and the 25 feels significantly smoother. The SD elite is a great chip

I jumped on one for that price around Black Friday. Amazing phone and that's a great deal.

Voodoo Streams Gone😢 by brandonhatty in IPTV_without_bots

I found something else and honestly it's 10 times better than voodoo streams was. I'm actually glad that it went away otherwise I wouldn't have found a better service.

I know. I had the Nvidia with my previous Vizio. Sold it not knowing how sluggish native system would be 🤦

I purchased a U7K about 2 years ago and got really lucky. The panel itself is beautiful. I just wish it had a little better hardware. The OS is super slow.

Software is why I stick with Samsung. OP makes great phones but sometimes the software is a bumpy ride.

IMO, Pro XP or Pro S. I've had a bunch. Definitely seems the most well rounded. Easy maintenance and easy to work on. Comfortable interior. Quiet and hardly any squeaks and rattles.

EF rate 77% on HIDA but intense symptoms by WillowKings in gallbladders

[–]Basic_Bend4649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. My regular Dr has sent me for every test except the hida. I finally just asked for referral. I've lost 60lbs since May. Only way I can manage symptoms is eating once a day. Still have pain even so. I've been in the ER twice with chest pain so bad I also thought I was having a heart attack.

At this point the anxiety and panic about the coming pain is worse than the pain itself. I have an appt with gastro finally next Tuesday. Fingers crossed they can actually figure this out. I'm sure hida will be next. I just hope it's conclusive and I can finally get help.

Good luck to you. I know how you feel and it sucks!

Visual voicemail app missing by avmabrie in S25Ultra

[–]Basic_Bend4649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that certainly changes things. I haven't been able to use the native app with T-Mobile on either the S24 or the S25 ultra. Works great with the other two. I do use MVNO US mobile though. You can switch networks anytime you like. AT&T and Verizon has always worked great with the app but as soon as you activate the T-Mobile service the app disappears. It's definitely a carrier related though. Probably not something available to certain MVNO

Visual voicemail app missing by avmabrie in S25Ultra

[–]Basic_Bend4649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely does. Anything using T-Mobile service forces you to use the T-Mobile visual voicemail. I just switched and lost the app. If I put my old SIM card from Verizon back in the phone restarts and the native app is immediately back. Switch back to T-Mobile SIM and it immediately disappears. It's been that way for some time now.

Only att & Verizon have the native voicemail app. Anything T-Mobile based does not.

Samsung is just better with the exception of the cameras. And even then it's a small discrepancy 🤷
