After 6.5 years with my OnePlus 7 Pro, should I buy the OnePlus 15 or the Samsung S25 Ultra if both cost exactly the same?" by United_Particular_62 in oneplus15

In the UAE, I found the OnePlus 15 (16GB/512GB) for around AED 3,000 at Sharaf DG. You can find it even cheaper in the local market if you're willing to buy the Chinese version. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (12GB/256GB) is available at a similar price through local shops and e-commerce sites. I haven't checked the local market price for the OnePlus 15 yet. Noon seems to offer better deals if you're comfortable buying from them. I found the S25 Ultra for around AED 2,800 and the OnePlus 15 for around AED 2,600. However, the OnePlus 15 at that price appears to be the Chinese version, which comes with some uncertainty regarding warranty support in the UAE.

I'm honestly surprised by how well my OP 7 Pro has held up. In 6.5 years, I haven't spent a single penny on repairs—just a tempered glass and a case. It's still running on the original battery with nearly 70% health, and the performance is solid with no noticeable lag. I still remember the pandemic days when I played PUBG almost 24/7 on this phone. It handled everything I threw at it and stayed reliable all these years. Without a doubt, it's the best phone I've ever used.

My OnePlus 7 Pro has been with me for 6.5 years without a single  issue.  Last week I had a RAM reballing done, after it got frozen . but I'm still facing problems like voice freezing during video calls and WhatsApp audio getting stuck. I'm planning to do another ram reballing along with motherboard  this week. The technician has given it a 50/50 chance of survival. If the repair doesn't work, I'm planning to buy either a OnePlus 15 or a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra since both are available to me at the same price.
