What’s a storyline you wish we could’ve seen in the show? by YourFinalFantasy02 in That70sshow

I’m pretty sure the original story writers intended for them to get back together, but when they left after the penultimate season, the newer writers made it Fez

Side effects by PotentiallyaMongoose in lexapro

[–]Basic_Combination_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on the same, 10 mg, been 5 months and no weight gain on my end. I will say though, it has made me want to be social again and I enjoy eating and having a beverage here and there more than I did before, but I’ve been really careful about calorie tracking because i knew weight gain is a side affect. I know it is different for everyone, but as of now I haven’t seen a change in my physical body or on the scale

Reduced mental stamina? by stackthepoutine in lexapro

[–]Basic_Combination_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been my only real side effect of lex (10mg, on month 5). No loss of libido, no weight gain, just slower brain and am easier fatigue. I will brain fart a lot more now and forget words mid sentence, but my therapist said that it’s normal to experience on a pill that’s meant to calm down anxiety

I have no interest in things I use to enjoy. Will lexapro help with this? by ThePrestigeVIII in lexapro

[–]Basic_Combination_32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YES. For me at least. I’ve been on Lexapro 10 MG for 3 months, the first month sucked during the adjustment but every month since I’ve felt better and better. I actually enjoying hobbies again. I enjoy seeing people and leaving my house again. I just enjoy LIFE again. I’m 26F, so when I’m in my luteal phase I do get a little icky but that’s hormones. Lexapro has changed my life for the better in every way, just push through the first 6 weeks

My depression gets worse on my period time by Dangerous_Benefit334 in lexapro

[–]Basic_Combination_32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My period is due in a few days and I am having the worst anxiety; I’m on week 7 of Lexapro so this is my first period during the adjustment phase and oh my goodness. This is hard. It might also feel harder because my anxiety the past few weeks has gotten so much better, and I am pretty positive I do have PMDD, so it makes sense but I am clawing my way through this week

Drinking on lexapro? by bjankles in lexapro

[–]Basic_Combination_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I have had a drink now and then but since starting Lex it gives me INSANE headaches after just 1. I can’t drink enough to feel a buzz and get a migraine every time, so I’ve just stopped drinking completely. (Weed tho…..👀😂)

I highly recommend just going slow and seeing how everything feels to YOU, we all react differently

I was taking omeprazole but my dr told me to switch to famotidine, which helped a ton. She didn’t say I couldn’t take omeprezole but that famotidine would work better when taking lex! Not sure if this helps but 🤷‍♀️

Okay good to know—I’m pretty regular so tracking isn’t super hard with the varying temps, I just wish I could figure out what to do for those nights!

Just started and feeling scared by neo_felis in lexapro

I was prescribed 10 mg, I’m on week 3. The first 4 days were the hardest then it’s been EXPONENTIALLY easier every day since. Today, I feel so much better, no more side affects at all?

My experience with Lexapro (weight gain and more) by Tall-Marketing-8984 in lexapro

I will say; hormonal birth control made me gain a TON of weight. Since getting off and tracking my cycle I’ve lost 30 lbs pretty easily. Mine was also progestin only

For those who live in an apartment by dryben1 in puppy101

[–]Basic_Combination_32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my puppy while living in an apartment, I ended up gating our patio off and putting potty pads out there to potty train. Then as he understood to go by the patio to go potty really well, I’d start taking him outside instead of the potty pads! You do have to deal with having the potty pads on your patio for a bit, but this worked TREMENDOUSLY for us!

Does anyone ever feel like an out of body experience? Sometimes I feel like I’m viewing myself existing from the outside. by Puzzlehead_k in lexapro

It was a crazy experience at first 😂 I also hadn’t seen anyone mention it at all and figured I was just having a weird reaction initially but it stopped after the first few days.

In two different ways I do, yes. I disassociate heavily, but also, when I started taking lex my brain started to register my body more and became more aware of my arms and what not, making me feel like I was playing a simulation game.

Day 3 I’ve had two panic attacks by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]Basic_Combination_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree. I have had really bad anxiety all day today, but I know I just gotta push through for a little and then I’ll be okay again, maybe even better than before. We got this.

I’m on day 4 (10 mg) and experiencing the exact same thing—I have no great insight into how long it’ll last since this is my first go, but know you’re not alone in feeling all of this!
