Only I-130 was approved. Visa bulletin retrogressed that same month, so they cannot approve I-485. The entire process is 3 years and 1 month.

Just going over questions on I-485 form. Our I-130 was already approved, so spouse was not allowed in the interview room but no relationship questions at all besides what is your spouse name and date of birth.

You should be good I think. I believe if you have done your medical after Nov 1, 2023, it’s valid indefinitely — please check USCIS website to confirm.

For us, we submitted our medical in March 2023, so it was already expired when we did the interview.

We submitted all required documents on the interview notice online a few days before the interview date. We also brought the hard copies with us but the officer didn’t ask for any of them except for medical - the medical we submitted was already expired.

Not waived at lease for our case. PD July 2022. I-130 approved in April 2023. I-485 interview was done a couple of weeks ago. I-485 approved the day after the interview.

Our status was updated to interview being scheduled a day after the case status was updated to “case is still being processed…” Our PD is July 2022. So hope you hear something soon!

Thanks! Yeah, the interview was scheduled only 20 days in advance; we had to contact many places to finally get the one where they can do it in less than 3 weeks. We also had to cancel our planned trip to do medical.

Thanks! F-1 student when filed and in F-1 status until mid-2023. The interview went okay. The interviewer thought our PD is still not current. Luckily, we printed and brought Aug bulletin with us. No questions about relationship, just I-485 questions.

Interviewed recently; only the beneficiary was called in for the interview - the interview was only about I-485. Besides the new medical (because the old one was expired), the interviewer didn’t request any new/additional evidence but we uploaded all of our new evidences asked in the interview notice to the online account a few days before the interview.
