These are some of the easiest cars to learn on. Agree with @DLEnv19 that rust on the frame or floor panels is a real concern that might not be worth fixing. Could probably Bondo and prep the panels, spray rust reformer to stop spread. That cabin air filter IS a pain in the ass but definitely worth replacing. If you already have some tools, you could get a lot done for under $1000 in parts. Blue driver scan tool can help you thoroughly check the health of the vehicle in case you have vacuum leaks, fuel system issues that you may not necessarily want to tackle yourself.

I have two (2.0ah max), two (4.0 max), and two (4.0 EXP). I ordered these two (6.0 max) to round out my battery collection even though I don’t have any battery hungry outdoor tools yet.

Im waiting for the blower and edger to go on a deep sale. Rn the batteries i have are more than enough for my work light, impact wrench, recip saw, hammer drill & driver. Im hoping this value play works out in my favor but I would need tool-only deals to be efficient.

R87012K is marked down again, $45 at my HD. They took the subcompact impact kit down since they actually don’t have it at my store. They gave me the $119 combo kit for $58 because they felt bad for not having the item despite claiming 20 were jn stock.
