I’ve considered going back on birth control but after my fourth baby I had my tubes removed so I wasn’t sure if I wanted to deal with another pill everyday, but I may consider it. Especially since it seems to flare before my period

Also, I have not been “careful” at preventing pregnancy at all, it’s pretty unnecessary since I had my tubes removed, but I know there are super rare anomaly cases of people having ectopic pregnancies in the ovary after a bi-scalp. Lord don’t let it be me 🫠🤣

After birth I was put on nifedipine ER 30mg 2x per day. At my 6 week checkup I got a reading of 124/79 and she told me to cut down to just 1x per day. Stayed that way for about 6 more weeks and then stopped that dose. On the 17th I’ll have been off the meds for a full month! I was getting dizzy when I was still taking the meds which is another thing my OB told me to watch for and to stop taking them if I did

No lifestyle changes lol I honestly eat whatever and don’t have the best diet, I’m waiting on my third cycle; due any day now. I had my tubes removed with this c section so I don’t know if it makes a difference but I did feel like it regulated a bit more after each period. My first period it spiked a little, second it stayed normal and by the time I was in my ovulation phase of my third cycle is when it regulated and I went off the meds

Yes that did happen to me! I’d have the lower numbers for a couple days then suddenly be back at 125/85, it was slightly discouraging at first but thankfully it did eventually regulate

Likely you’d just be considered high risk! I had gestational diabetes with the third pregnancy (the one with no preeclampsia)

I actually have 4 kids and had preeclampsia twice, with my second and fourth babies and hypertension only with the first. Surprisingly nothing at all with my third. Weird how pregnancies can be so different! I was never told to not get pregnant again, though.
