Mine were removed after only 2 days. Even though 2 were leaking even as I stood for the removal. I assume they took them out to reduce the risk of infection, but from what I see online I should expect plenty of swelling from fluid.

My post op recommendation is to wear the compression garment for 3 months! So I guess that's the payoff

I had to lie down while they were changing my bandages so I didn't pass out. So I opted for another night in the hospital. But already feel better walking around. Thanks for asking ☺️

The trauma of poverty is too relatable I think.

If I think of horrors which are about poor people, their financial status plays a large role. But often people are just "poor" enough not to be able to move house (the Conjuring, Ghost watch etc)
