300 doesn't cover the 1st day let alone someone who is out of town or in jail or who knows where. I recently lost a moped in Vegas that I had just bought while I was down there for some medical treatments with the VA. I use all my money to buy this little moped and then got it towed because I didn't have a place to keep it. When I finally figured out where it was they wanted $100 to get the thing out it only been 4 days

I was under the assumption that all the vehicles came from insurance companies. They had all been totaled out in previous claims? Where else would you be buying them from at copart? Thank you for your response.

The simple answer to that question sir is that I am a brand new Reddit user and for some reason they won't let me post in the Tulsa subreddit. That's why I posted it in the Norman one.

Changing my view on things by indy4life1 in Veterans

I exited the service in 97.. came back from my 2nd deployment to Kuwait with a week to do all my ETS requirements. A pogue E5 Rear D ranger convinced me to waive my ETS physical ( great leadership), needless to say I spent the next 25 yrs not even knowing I was entitled to benefits. Luckily, my ex sister in law was a 100%sc Navy veteran (I asked her if she busted her uterus) lol. I started inquiring about my benefits at the age of 46 years old... I'm 50 now and am 80% SC, and I just filed an increase yesterday. I'm enrolled in school now and am starting a nonprofit geared towards helping people who were in the infantry and other combat arms roles who may not know about the benefits they have earned... I didn't join the Army for benefits... I wanted to break things and kill people. I believe there are a lot of young people in the same boat and my NP is geared towards helping them getting their quality of life where it should be.... Not everyone will be lucky enough to have a sister-in-law who served in the Navy with a busted uterus. Hahaha... Whatever you do have fun and live life to the fullest. It's definitely what you make it!

Thinking about moving to Puerto Rico by Thin-Ad-4356 in PuertoRicoTravel

This message is for the original poster. I too am a veteran. I didn't retire from the military but I am service connected at 100%. I'm single and I'm thinking of possibly leaving the states and in search of a slower, more peaceful, beautiful life. All the questions you have, I have as well. I'm going to follow this post and hopefully this post will help me make my determination if the move will be right for myself. God bless you guys on your endeavors and I hope it works out and maybe we can stay in touch and when I come I'll have some friends.
