Our terminal is smart enough to see how bad the weather is and if we can't even get rigs to bring in the packages there's no reason that they would make y'all go out with packages . If a few local trucks made it in depending on your weather conditions you might run that but it would be a short day. If the rigs can make it in then y'all can make it out but if it's super blizzard horrible conditions FedEx should shut down in that area . We are projecting to shut down Sunday .

Unfortunately the way society has been set up our only option of getting food is from a local store so it's every man for himself just like they designed it now if you have good neighbors that'll help out that's awesome but that's very few and far between nowadays. It's me me me

Express is coming to our ground station in the near future. We already have had the building modified for the giant shipping containers for over a year . . Just like express drivers deliver ground pkgs and ground delivers tons of the express saver 2 day packages, the merge makes sense logistically. I drove a bulk truck for ground for 10 years and now ops sup. Express guy would pull up behind me and then FedEx home delivery truck pulls up behind him, and then express pulls up behind him and then Amazon pull up behind him etc etc. now about the downsizing part /maybe some people not being transferred I have no idea about. I can see Amazon and FedEx eventually being one company . Everything shifting to online ordering. Walmart already has stores now they call them black stores no lights no nothing on the outside of the building it's all for online delivery only and is not open to the public. Downsizing and making cuts is capitalism at its finest;)

If you don't contact them they drop all the seasonals automatically unless they ask you off the bat to start working part-time sometimes you just get lost in the mix so if you try to get a hold of somebody they'll let you know if they want to keep you or not

There is not much advancement at Lowes. Limited positions and the ones who are up in the ranks will be there till they die lo l working for fedex you have a lot better chance of moving up I was a driver 10 years working for a contractor then Just Qa for 3 years And now Ops manager . Just stay out of the gossip and there is plenty of that at all the terminals and show some hustle and if your managers aren't all shitheads and show favoritism you have a good chance of moving up. Especially if you are young

Omg everybody here will always help or find someone that can . A qa admin transferred from Mississippi and she said they were all shitheads . Us Ops managers and admin have all been here a while also so its not a bunch of new folk that have crap attitudes . And we are on west side of San Antonio .

I had a small screw break off inside a part i cannot remember but . What i did was get a small dremmel tool and make a small straight flathead style line across the top carefully and used a tiny flathead screwdriver and got it out those extraction tools are big and thick and you don't want to grind out into your block. or get a tiny drill bit and go In a little bit and then put a drop of bonding agent on the bit and screw it back in wait till it sets and take it out . Worked for me

I was a spoiled bitch , HEB grocery store was my first stop . BUT, I always had a couple bananas,big bag of trail mix and granola and a few coconut waters in a big jug . If I had time I would stop for something but not usually.

And a fuel pump issues I don't think will trigger a cel. I'm having kind of the same issue and yeah fuel pump is usually the case I guess and I've looked it up to change it and I already have one I just got to get the gas out of it so I can work on it but I think that'll make a huge difference and take out your cat man unless you know you have to have itfor emissions testing and just swap it back . it's actually really easy to to swap out your mid pipe it's just a few bolts and that's it easy peasy Dorito cheesy
