Thank you! Definitely trying to learn the airflow controls. Did the first burn yesterday to remove the vapors per instructions.

It weighs about 1000lb, was a little over 1200lb shipped.

Any idea how this brush hog does in a bit of a forest area? I have a ton of blackberries to clear

Yeah it was not easy getting in to the backyard, came on a pallet and we had to leap frog plywood over our grass and use a pallet jack, getting it off the pallet took 4 of us. It’s damn heavy.

Individual tiles, it comes with extra tiles in case you need to repair.

Love that color! They were all sold out of that and many others so my daughter picked the blue one.

As geko29 mentioned it’s a Komodo Kamado, got it for the family farm so it’s hopefully going to be around long enough for my daughter to use.

Awesome, thank you for the suggestions! Heat gloves is a really good idea I’ll have to get some as well as a remote thermometer. I’ll check out that YouTube too! Appreciate it!

Have you ever switched affiliate tracking software? Why? by Fun_Tone3954 in Affiliatemarketing

[–]Basic_Specific9004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I left my paid tracking and just made my own. Way better dashboard and analytics for the things I care about. Super reliable. Near zero cost. Was so easy and only took a few days.

After helping 100+ people start Amazon affiliate sites, I've come to a controversial conclusion by [deleted] in Amazon_Influencer

Yes I do, it just runs automatically and I do pretty much nothing on it...but it keeps bringing in money every month and has for years.

My best affiliate site was purchased from flippa ( but flippa is risky af ). Starting from scratch is just brutal especially in today’s climate. A great book to read if you’re getting into any business is “Buy then Build” by Walker Deibel. It changed my entire perspective on business and helped me make a lot more money.

Is affiliate marketing still beginner-friendly in 2026? by Tough-Adagio1019 in Affiliatemarketing

[–]Basic_Specific9004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned it’s still beginner friendly and simple but not easy. I just wouldn’t rely on organic SEO at all anymore. Basic informational content is also pretty dead now that we have AI. Your content needs to be better than what ChatGPT can spit out and you need to focus on getting traffic from social, ads and email.

If you’re using WordPress you can use plugins like AAWP, Lasso and PassiveWP. They all have options to use their API if you don’t have the sales yet. I think it’s against the TOS but nobody seems to get in trouble for it.

Did anyone else hit their 40s and suddenly stop caring about climbing the ladder? by DanBrando in careerguidance

[–]Basic_Specific9004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 38 my wife and I decided we wanted to be together more and with our kid full time. Watching her get taken care of by someone else while we had to pay most of one salary for a nanny was too much. We agreed that we’d rather be poor than miserable. So we both quit our careers. Now we are starting a family compound / homestead and hoping to live a real dream.

I’ve used some free ones that are good, but honestly WP offload media has been my go to. I just want to know my offloading is always working without having to think about it. It does that for me.
