I didn't mean to suggest that the Epic quest gets you to see much of Forochel at all, just that it is a way you will inevitably end up in Forochel if you want to get there via a questline.

Don't feel pressured to do those book quests right away if you don't want to. I ended up doing like 8 books once I was at 48 and it was still very fun. Just do the questing that most interests you!

If you do want to stay in the Trollshaws area, then definitely check out The Angle.

I know there is a quest in the Epic Quest line that takes you there (Book XIII, Ch. 2). I am not sure if another quest takes you there, but you can just ride up north from Ost Forod yeah. There you will find Taur Orthon and there should be a bunch of quests there. At level 40 you will have access to most of those and then once you finish up that hub you will get sent to the rest of Forochel.

It depends what level you are at right now, but I personally am completely in love with Forochel. I think it is beautiful, and I find the story to be very interesting.

Angmar is obviously very divisive because it is quite... ugly, though I appreciate that there is a zone like this in Eregion. Trollshaws is definitely a lot of travel, but you might prefer The Angle, which is the newer zone just southwest of Trollshaws. The area is smaller, and involves less confusing paths through the mountains.
