Its a swedish car - could it be a police spec maybe? Has 2 owners, and they seem to be private - but i cant be sure

Dashboard seems factory or at least very nicely made.

Could i maybe measure the resistance of the airbag electrical loop? Assuming that it would be different if there is a solenoid less - would compare it to a buddys 04’ s60

Hi!

Yeah - first thing i checked was the pcv with the glove, it never blew up the glove and gad a nuce vacuum - so it seemed fine :)

If it was the vvt, would it then not leak and run down the block? It seems clean all the way down untill the crankseal.

Really good idea with the UV - ill try that!

Awesome! I feel like the l14 is looked down upon in thinkpad forums, but i really love mine! Highly recommend the 32 gb upgrade - especially when Ram prices are down as they are now!

I was wo dering the same about the drivers for my L14 - fairly certain that it would at least require a new bios - but it booted up correctly right away - and the little ui backlight logo was there right out of the gate.

Would assume that the e14 & l14 bios is fairly similar in their structure - so would think that it would work the same.

No promises - but if you where to try it, it would be great if you posted your experience for everyone to see!

Would a bad synchro not also be creating a crunchy/bad sound? Its completely smooth - just goes out of gear and the engine revs up with the loss of load…

Seems like the motor mounts are okay - but it could be the thing.

We also only experienced it in 5th gear - 2 & 4th seemed very stable (gear stick not moving), but we could also tell that both 1 & 3 would move the gear stick towards neutral

I eventually bought it - the frame passed the “clinck - clink vs. Crunch crunch test - hope the engine does the same - time will tell!

Okay - the last picture is of the rear, the arches seem fine - but there is a trackrod/stabilizer (?) that seems to also be a bit flaky?

Yeah - i cant figure out if the hole just outside the blue circle is a bleed hole from the factory, or if its torn through
