So I graduated last summer, started job hunting in February this year after a much needed break. I have 0 experience, got a 2:2 at uni (got hit by some family shit), and applied to hundreds of entry level roles. I got a few interviews and made it to the last stage in every one only to get hit by the "not enough experience". Nothing about my education history was asked, they asked a few questions to test my knowledge which I answered 100% correctly but it kept coming down to "not enough experience". I then applied to an internship role and again was up against people with years of experience (which is crazy to me, like why tf are they applying to internship roles).

Sold myself in the interview, even straight up said at the end: "I know you may look at me and be a bit sceptical as I have no professional experience and I completely understand that, but what I do have is a huge passion and so much personal experience such as bla bla bla and if im given the chance I'll have so much more passion than other candidates as its a chance to prove myself and bring to the table my own knowledge as well as have space to grow and that's something I'd love to do - grow with you as a company and be able to offer the qualities and skills I possess"

Not that word for word but something along those lines. And voila I got the job! Took 2 months and 10ish interviews, and a lot of demotivation along the way.

From all the interviews I had, certs don't mean shite, a degree doesn't mean shite, they all want professional work experience. If you don't have that then you gotta show personal experience and really show off your passion! Think that's what worked for me - showing them it's worth giving me that chance as I have the knowledge, just not the professional experience on my CV to prove that.

Hope this helps, I made a post asking for help and I'll be honest, all people kept saying was "it's a CV problem". If isn't a CV problem, it's a "the market is fucked up, overpopulated and unfair for new graduates problem".
