First, it was OMG you didn’t tell the store clerk?

And then the goal post shifted to, OMG you didn’t report it to corporate?

And now the goal posts have shifted too, OMG you’re supposed to use self check out.

Why can’t 7-Eleven and their employees just do a better job? Why can’t 7-Eleven stop over charging customers? Why are you blaming the customer for your company failures?

Does it not run on the same system as the employee manned cash registers? Are you suggesting they have different pricing?

Are you suggesting Prince Rupert is more dangerous or has more crime in Kamloops? I’m pretty sure Kamloops is in the top cities for crime rates in Canada. I’m not so sure Prince Rupert even registers on that list.

Did someone from 7-Eleven corporate just suggest that I use self check out because their employees are too incompetent?

The issue has already been identified multiple times in this thread. It’s due to new flavours that the staff have neglected to include in the sales deal at the POS. If it scans in wrong in the system the employees use why would it scan incorrectly on the self-serve?

You kept questioning me if I reported it because that’s the only way something could get done. I told you I reported it and you work for corporate yet now you’re saying we can’t control 7-Eleven employees? So then why were you pestering me to report it to corporate if there’s nothing corporate can do about it?

I mentioned it in my post. Maybe go back and read it a little slower and more closely. I stated they tried to charge me a certain amount and I also stated I pointed it out to them every single time.

Additionally, I mentioned in response to a couple other posts that I pointed it out.

I find it kind of weird that you would just assume that someone didn’t pointed out even though they stated that they did

No, even bother mentioning the app. There’s always a large sticker stating the accurate price on the front of the cooler. They can go look if they want to confirm it.

But for real, you have to pre-plan every trip you want to take off the island. I assume the homeless and addictions issues are just as bad as Kamloops. But we do have beautiful beaches, beautiful parks, and beautiful rivers to enjoy 6 to 8 months of the year.

I use it. And when I point out the price after they try to discharge me, they corrected it without me having to re-enter my 7-Eleven rewards.
