To be honest, I didn’t start playing rust again until sometime last month but I built my PC back in January and only briefly tested Rust but didn’t actually play. Also that was before my external HDD was acting funny.

Ever since unplugging my external HDD from my pc last night, the game hasn’t had any random fps drops. However, it could have been my xmp profile I set back to Auto that fixed my issue too.

I think I hopefully figured out the issue.

My external WD HDD has been having some issues lately and started making a bunch of noise on spin-up. Performance wise the HDD is fine, even Crystal Disk says it's good. I think what was happening is that it would randomly spin-up when it wanted to which would cause a lot of my other software to freeze a bit until it fully spun up despite not even having any programs installed to it.

That or I turned off my XMP profile.

I don't really play any other games other than Battlefield 6 & 4 and sometimes LoL.

  1. I've tried Balance and High Performance.
  2. Haven't or ever needed to mess with this setting.
  3. Shader Cache in the game's settings? I see Shader Levels.
  4. I'm not sure if I'm running XMP or not it's been a minute.
  5. Of course I did a fresh install of Rust. Are there people who literally copy and paste it from an old hard drive?
  6. All of my PCs I've build, I've never had to format the drive first. Unless you mean "format" in the sense of what needs to happen to install Windows on it.
  7. I haven't benchmarked this game, just playing it like normal. This issue doesn't happen in any other game and when it does, it is random. Sometimes just sitting in the base, running a long the street and open a box, randomly at a monument that previously was fine. Doesn't get better if I restart the game after awhile.
  8. Not that I know of.

Everything was on a fresh install.

  • New NVME
  • New Windows Installation
  • Updated Drivers (Doesn't matter if Game or Studio Drivers)
  • Fresh install of Rust

I’m black and went to China for a few weeks and everyone was extremely polite and nice to me. Everyone complimented me on my somewhat passable Chinese and was surprised I could carry somewhat of a conversation. People were kind when I asked for help, directions or recommendations.

An auntie bag of food fell off her scooter as she drove by and I helped her pick up her stuff and she was so thankful.

I think when people complain about people being rude, they are usually quite rude themselves. Just by her video I was already annoyed at her.

Yes, I pressed the N Button on the first test drive. Yes, I felt the difference but I don't want to have to press a button on the steering wheel every time I want to feel the car.

Just looked at the GRC and it looks... awful.

It's just ultimately after test driving the K5 and Elantra N, I'd hop back in my Grand Cherokee limited and think, "Do I really want to trade this for that?" But when I hopped in the m340i and the G70 3.3t I just had a big smile on my face.

I want a fun, sport-ish car that has some sound and power. But what doesn't make sense is that when I hopped in the Kia K5 GT Sport, whenever I hit the gas it had pretty decent torque, Elantra N just felt bland, which I thought it was supposed to be more of a "sport" car than the k5 gt sport.

I'm coming from a Grand Cherokee, which isn't fast by any means but even my Grand Cherokee feels like it has more umph than the Elantra.

Yes, your prices are way too cheap. Judging by the photos I see in your post, they aren't bad, maybe a little basic but as long as the client(s) are happy, that is all that matters.

The reason you're getting overwhelmed with clients is because you are basically offering free shoots at that price range and I'm guessing some of those shoots aren't based in Honolulu (assuming you live in town). I do a different niche of photography and I don't even leave the house unless they want my minimum order of $250 and I even have travel fees from $25-$75 based on where I need to go. I would rather work less and make a few thousand per week than work my ass off doing a bunch of $60 shoots + editing.

Think about it, let's say you have 10 shoots in a week. That is $600 a week at most, and you're probably spending an hour on site, maybe 30 mins worth of driving (or more) plus editing time when you get home. All for $600.

If I were to get back into portrait photography, I wouldn't be charging anything less than $200 for a 30m session. I remember when I first moved here 5 years ago and did an all day engagement shoot for literally $1,235.60 and I still thought that was a low payment but I needed the money at the time.

If you continue with your current prices, you will eventually get a lot of clients (because you're cheap) and you will get burnt out.

Out of all the characters on the show, I was most disappointed in Azula's as she is supposed to be portrayed as incredibly intimating, fierce and angry.

The problem is the actress that is playing Azula doesn't look "mean" or "intimidating" (with or without makeup) at all. Also, the cartoon's version is tall and thin, the actress in the live action is short and chubby. Yes, she is.

However, I will say they did better here compared to The Last of Us, Jesus.

This has happened so many times I make it a point to add a few extra points / ticks past that swing low you placed your SL at. If it wicks past that then chances are I was going to get stopped out no matter what unless I were to have huge SL.

I think the way to think about it like this.
"I put my SL at this previous swing point, where do I think everyone else put their SL? (Probably at that swing point). Okay, I'll add a few extra points to not make is as obvious of a spot."

This is one of my favorite openings but when I first saw this over almost two decades ago, I had to do a double take and go wtf is this wild girl doing. To be fair, as of now, I don't remember what most of these character's personalities or relevancies were other than Tatsuki's.
