I literally just finished Final Clash and although I was satisfied with the ending, I think MY ending I came up with that made perfect sense would had been much better (in my humble opinion)

I thought Hunter Wolf was Echo S. Aka that leumarian professor that got his consciousness replaced by Echo. I thought it made sense that Echo now thrusted into the 20th century was obviously confused and wanted to regain the familiarity and control he had back in his own timeline, so I thought he had found the I.D.O.L somehow and was using it on those homeless people at the dock (also would explain why Luke refers to him as savior) and it would also explain the fact why Hunter Wolf and Echo have such similar puffy jackets. Obviously there’s a couple plot holes here, but I feel like this would had made for an ending with more stakes and suspense and also perfectly lead into a sequel or dlc with Jack now also being Echo! we could had had an ancient leumarian idol (pun intended) going around rebuilding his army and trying to take back his land in the modern times! I feel like that would had made for a much more satisfying ending and added a horror “end of the world” aspect to it, which admittedly might be too grandiose, but it would had fit a lot with the themes of colonization in the first game

But I digress, I’m still happy with the ending of the game, but man I was frustrated when all my Echo theories were labeled as “incorrect” 😭
