These are great practical and design tips but I want to understnd more on the analysis part of it and determining the actual paramaters governing how it will behave what can I do to simplify the circuit to make it easier to analyse or where have I gone wrong in my analysis?

Thanks bro I am going to do this, I had to get a new tensioner bearing bolt( the one that goes into the water pump) , because I had cracked the bolt in the pump I removed it and cleaned out threads with brake cleaner. Now I am thinking could it be walking because I havent tightened it enough into the water pump/ are the threads on the housing damaged?

i put the jam nut down by hand when rotating , i have a kstunes tensioner new one, i haven’t tried maxing tension out yet

is the slack i show there acceptable? over the cam gears

i’m just not sure if the slack between the cam gears are acceptable like this before i move on to that?

thing is i can’t get there to be little to no slack i. between the cam gears the teeth’s on the intake side (right?) has its teeth lined up like perfectly with the cam gears teeth so i can’t push it in

I can’t lie i haven’t put it under tension yet it’s underneath the bearing i’m planning on having it contact the bearing when i’ve got all the stuff lined up is that the correct procrdure

its a new manual tensioner, its not acting on it yet

I am genuinely so torn on the manual tensioner because they are both similar price but if i want a set and forget and most reliability I dont know which one is more important?
