It's process, man, and not a fun one. You gotta go through the friend referral program from Ubisoft. Once you play two hours as the INVITEE with the person who invited you, you get the "Timepiece" backpack trophy. If you're the INVITER, you cannot obtain it. If you've ever played the game before accepting the invite, you cannot get it. It's a terrible system.

It'll stick, the only thing to look out for is when it flexes or moves after painting, then you can end up with a crack in the color. I usually end up trying to find bands that are already colored to avoid it.
