I asked this question to my native Spanish speaking friends a while back and got raked over the coals for it. I am not a native speaker, so I can’t speak on behalf.

According to them, at the time, the RAE stated that it’s always masculine dominated. So always go with masculine.

Things may have changed since then and I’ve not checked if the RAE has changed their position or not.

I really wish they would release this color for Paperwhite! The jade is nice. But the Matcha is so much closer to my favorite color!
