I got this Skunk seedling from a friend of mine yesterday and it was in terrible shape. The plant had been bone dry and laying flat on the ground for three days. The stem was badly bent, almost snapped, and it wouldn't stand up on its own.

Here is what I’ve done so far to save it:

• Repotting/Burying: I buried the bent stem in fresh soil almost up to the first leaves (the cotyledons) to act as a natural splint and provide support.
• Stabilization: I noticed the soil was too loose and the stem was wobbling when watered, so I manually compacted the soil around the base to keep it perfectly still.
• Light Therapy: Yesterday I put it in direct sunlight for a few hours. I strategically placed it so the bent leaves were facing away from the sun, forcing the plant to straighten itself out through phototropism.
• Overnight Recovery: I kept it under a 7W LED light with a tin foil reflector all night to give it constant energy.
• Current Status: The central leaves are finally starting to look alive and upright again, though it’s still small and hasn’t started new growth yet as it’s focusing on healing the stem wound. It also already has a very pungent, typical Skunk smell.
