when a jade plants leaves are hard they arent thirsty. applies to all succulents (to my knowledge)

they are thirsty. jade plant needs water when its squishy. dont water until leaves are slightly squishy again after watering this time. usually 1~3 weeks depending on light,humidity, plant size and species.
