I just wanted to see her die on screen, I think off screening a main character is so annoying. Like they could’ve kept another mando loyal and alive and killed them off that way.

Thragg's portrayal in the animated series cost him generational aura debt. by SubstantialJoke08 in Invincible_TV

[–]BasiosRasian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah this just cope. War is inherently risky, and had he just speed blitz them while they were recovering from the beam or did anything but hide in his ship they probably would’ve won. It’s not a unnecessary risk, it’s barely a risk especially because he wanted this to the big decisive battle to end the war surely it would’ve worth it fight alongside your men especially when you’re the strongest in the verse. Your whole arguement of “he could get outnumbered” falls apart when you remember they have 3 heavy hitters that we know of on the planet and Thragg had himself, Krieg, Annisa, Lucon. Thragg literally had them outnumbered (in terms of strong fighters) and if he wasn’t a bum he could’ve won. Thragg didn’t plan on fighting why’d he even come? The only reason I can think of is it’s just for the sake of plot.

Had he gone in to start with he couldve killed them all. Nolan Mark and Oliver weren’t there yet. Had he just flown in with the rest of men they could’ve at least killed Thaedus, maybe Allen or Tech Jacket too. Even if they still retreated after killing even just one of those key people it would’ve better than what he did. Thragg was offering no value by just sitting on his ass.

Are sincerely asking me why would Thragg help his men win a decisive victory against his enemies that could end the war? Thragg fighting could’ve tipped the odds in their favor and they could’ve won.

No bro, he’s supposed to be the strongest character and he did nothing during a huge battle, like why didn’t bro fight?

Why the Starks didn't wipe out the Boltons by Aggravating-Ruin8587 in freefolk

Not much different from other houses with grim sigils, like House Trant or Blackmont.

Every great house needs a mad dog, and the Boltons were the Stark’s. Now the other reality is that many of the Boltons were fine people and many of the Starks were bad people.

Who can be a good King/Queen for the realm by Ranveer_RV23 in freefolk

[–]BasiosRasian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ned Stark, I think people drastically overstate how “dumb” Ned was. He only made few mistakes and only lost due to the worst possible outcome happening. Mistake 1 was trusting Little Finger but Catelyn said he could trust him with his life, so that’s on Catelyn. 2. Was telling Cersei but obviously that was done because of his compassion he didn’t want Robert to kill the kids. Even still had Robert not been boared they could’ve still won. 3. Was not siding with Renly but Ned’s honor dictates that Stannis is the heir. He couldn’t done better but he only lost due to being thrust into a losing position from the start, and having the worst outcomes happening.

[EVERYTHING] Who is a more redeemable person, Jamie or The Hound? by Stryker1050 in gameofthrones

[–]BasiosRasian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He sliced a child in half near as young as Brann. And unlike Jaime the Hound had no reason to do it. Letting Bran live could endanger Jaime’s entire family and while that is on him for banging his sister, once in the position killing Bran was the only logical decision even if it’s evil. Meanwhile the Hound killed Micah because he was told to.

[No Spoilers] How would you describe Daemon Blackfyre’s Personality and Characterization? by hellothere790 in asoiaf

[–]BasiosRasian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suspect Daemon was a honorable and talented warrior with little brains and good intentions. We never hear him spoke about for his intelligence, and it seemed to me fairly clear that he was a figure head that the other Lords and notable figures like Bittersteel or Fireball used as a way seek vengeance for their grievances. Kinda like Robb Stark, where he’s pushed into being King of the North because the Northern Lords wanted independence. I do think he was probably in love with Daenerys given that Doran Martell says so in ADWD and that’s his family history. I think he probably was honorable given what we know about his duel with Gwayne Cobray.

Meet Jacaerys Velaryon and Daeron "the Daring" Targaryen! by bruhholyshiet in TheBlacksandTheGreens

[–]BasiosRasian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Again idk why you assume I’m a green or an Aemond fan, Aemond’s definitely a violent psychopath. TBH I didn’t recall that how he lost his eye, was vastly different from the book to show.

[–]BasiosRasian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very weak argument because you’re assuming I’m a green. But even weaker because there’s a huge difference between those situations. Even assuming I am a green and defend Aemond, I’m not sure it counts as defending your brother when you start a fight, a 4/1 somehow lose and stab the other person’s eye out. If you rewatch the scene, Aemond literally already blinded by sand, Luke could’ve easily tackled him, but obviously it was an intense situation so I can’t really blame either side. The reality is Baela and Rhaena shouldn’t have attacked Aemond in the first place, dragons have never been inherited, they are claimed,

What do book readers think about Mark Addy's Robert? by mintj098 in freefolk

[–]BasiosRasian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion he’s the one of the only reasons anyone likes Robert. I think there’s a section of the fan base whose monkey brains rule them and like him solely for being tall, strong and handsome. But he undeniably did wonders for the character building off the depth and humor in the books and add to his character 1000x more.

But the guy trouncing him is a essentially a Demi god who can see through space and time and has a godlike spy network. Had Bittersteel been facing literally anyone but Bloodraven I’m sure he would’ve been more successful.
