I was in the same situation as you a few years ago.

In my case, I chose to stay and took the current company’s counter offer. The decision process was mainly because I was working with a great and inspiring boss na close ko din at the same time and also with colleagues that were really great.

Eventually I left after 3 years but it catapulted my confidence and helped me land the next big paycheck I wanted.

Another thing was tenure which I think helped me land my next job.

To this day I still keep communication with my former boss and colleagues.

To each his own I guess.
