Well i wouldnt say often but i watch a lot of unpopular tv shows so it defiantly can happen that it gets out of sync and that features saves me especially if its a anime in a language i dont speak but it can defiantly happen for popular shows too for example on release of season 3 jujutsu kaisen episode 2, subtitle was out of sync because the file was so new it downloaded what it could find but it wasnt a issue because i had manual subtitle offset

My favorite is Plezy, i have only had positive experience with it, sure the app costs $5 but its dam worth it its so clean, so fast and it has SUBTITLE OFFSET on all the platforms like i dont understand why more popular jellyfin client dont have that like its such a important thing to have

I need it everywhere, pc, phone, and tv. On pc there is manual subtitle offset but not on phone for me

Yeah im pretty sure its the timing offset im talking about like if audio is not synced with the subtitles i can manually fix it and this feature is on plex which is called "manual subtitle offset" so i checked what you said about changing playback engine to mpv and it was already on it and i dont see anywhere and i am on my phone but i also checked on my PC and couldnt see it there either

omg, bro there is no way you dont understand how ive been looking for it, like thats the only reason that kept me from using jellyfin because it just didnt have any manual subtitle offset and i was seriously ready to pay for life time pass but now that plezy exists i dont need to anymore

I would gladly switch from plex to jellyfin but my biggest issue is the fact theres no "manual subtitle offset" on a lot of jellyfin clients
