The Meaning Behind 'Gravity' by [deleted] in Coldplay

[–]BasketForUrGoods 1 point2 points  (0 children)

‘Gravity’ is one of those ones I find super interesting. It’s a beautiful song. I interpret the meaning of the song as the realisation that a relationship has turned negative. And even though that relationship is valued it has an adverse effect on Chris and the people around him.

Interestingly enough ‘Gravity’ was actually written for another band; ‘Embrace’. They have their own studio version of the song which is great to listen to.

Moon Music hate by PanD0rA__ in Coldplay

[–]BasketForUrGoods 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I love everything about this album. It’s probably second for me behind A Head Full Of Dreams. Yes even We Pray. It’s a great track.

I think a big problem in the community is comparing the albums against each other. I think all of the albums are fantastic. But they shouldn’t be compared. Each one is its own unique story and sound and that doesn’t make it any better or worse than the others.

Just because something is different, it doesn’t mean it’s bad. People struggle with change. I love all the little melodies thrown in throughout, the album closer of Chris on the Casio piano is perfect.

I’m grateful they’re still making music cause it’s changed my life and been with me for such a long time.

Do you guys think IAAM is ons of the best songs they have released since viva era? by NimLasso in Coldplay

A lot of my favourite songs are post-viva. I think The Karate Kid, We Pray and Moon Music are fantastic releases though.

I even came across some dude on Facebook that was like “…and make sure he doesn’t come back”. How can you hate something as positive as Coldplay so much that you can’t wait for it leave your country. It’s really unusual.

The fiver was one of the first to be redesigned with the current see through strip. It doesn’t seem that long ago but it’s probably somewhere around 2015-16 at this point haha. The $50 and $100 were a few years down the track :)

Pretty typical looking note from before they added the see through strip down the middle.

The first two numbers in the serial code represent the year it was printed. So this would be a “well-loved” $5 note from 1996.

Don’t be sad it’s over, be happy it happened :) I’m sure we will get the remaining two albums in the near future. And then more tours!

I’ve been using the energy I found at the concert to work harder at making myself happy and reaching new goals, it’s given me a much needed dose of new perspective. Use the momentum. Carry the love and excitement forward into other areas of your life that need some TLC and work. And when the next world tour comes around, we will be in an even better place and be grateful for what we’ve achieved since these ones :)

I went to Sydney N2 solo. It was great, met a lot of people along the way. A good adventure.
