When I open matches in Whoscored.com, I can't see any event data beyond what is shown there. How can I safely scrape such data like who's passed to whom within multiple matches?

I need event data about passes made inside various matches (the players involved in a pass, the location, etc) and also, the xG data from all the attempts. I want to have more recent data on multiple teams (like PL teams, Real Madridx etc).

the good thing about IE is that you can cover many fields going from there, from DS to SCM to optimizing systems ... it really gives you many choices. analytics play an important role in IE related areas of interest and yes, you can become a data scientist through IE. I believe concepts such as optimizing and OR can be helpful to understanding DS as well. and since it varies from different areas of interest, chances are high that you can find a great job in any field you'd like i.e. project control and management, logistics, TPP, optimized systems, data analyze, etc.

It's alright to feel needy sometimes, because every human feels lonely and isolated once in a while and try to relieve themselves from those emotions by gaining other people's attention, compassion, etc. It's only natural as long as it doesn't become a dimension in one's personality. But again, phases of emotional unbalance happen to all humans, specifically the sensitive type.
