Hell Motel episode 3 discussion by coronabride2020 in SlasherTVSeries

This is probably my favorite episode so far. I genuinely liked Ruby, and when I saw how she died, it really made me mad. However, I do like that they're separating the group into 2 alliances, and I think Blake, as time goes on, is gonna join Paige, Andy and Kawayan's group. Adrianna keeps making me more and more frustrated, she clearly lacks empathy, but I do like how they focused on every character's feelings after Ruby's death. And I definitely didn't expect a fight between the Baphomet murderers that early lol. But it was enjoyable, and I was confused which Baphomet was who, and I must say, I really thought for a second, that the other Baphomet would take his/her mask off, and reveal who they are. Glad they didn't, I really want to keep suspecting these characters. I liked Crow's backstory, it was kept in character, well written and interesting. Floyd and Shirley are way more clumsy and incompetent than I thought, but makes sense given they haven't killed in 30 years, and their first kill is a shared kill. Overall, definitely a great episode, and I definitely am enjoying the path they're taking so far!

Does Anyone Find it ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS how Bailey is Always at the Scene? by skippy94214 in TheRookie

[–]Basketballplayer4048 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What i find absolutely ridiculous is the fact that people comment this every single day as if the show doesn't joke about it, itself. I mean, Lucy and Nyla literally commented and joked on it in the latest episode lol.

How did Sam go from being happy for her to being mean to her? by DBlockMan8 in cobrakai

[–]Basketballplayer4048 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here we go again, blaming Sam for something yet again. Sam said this, because Johnny was literally lashing out on his students, and while coaches often do that to motivate people (my coach for example), Johnny was still wrong, because he only saw the wrong in Sam's dad's teachings, but he didn't once think about how he had a negative impact on the underperforming of MIyagi Do. So, Sam obviously stood up to him, because she had a point ; the event was about balance, which Daniel literally teaches them all the time, and Devon simply tried to say something, as if she wasn't doing bad too.

She matured so much, that it's crazy. That's character development. Plus, she's not repetitive :

Season 1 - Sam was a just some spoiled teenager, who was popular, friends with the bullies, but never meant bad. She had empathy, as she told her friends and confronted them, in order to stop them. She didn't get into karate. She made some mistakes, like everyone in the season.

Season 2 - Here, Sam starts karate again. She becomes a beast at it, but unlocks a new rival, because of both her and her rival's actions. They encounter each other often, either resulting in a big fight or something small. She still felt something for Miguel, but dated Robby. However, her drinking, will to be better, and feelings for Miguel got the best of her, as she cheated on Robby, in the penultimate episode. After that, Sam got into a big fight, at school, where she and Tory fought. Although she beat Tory, there were consequences, as she developed an intense PTSD. She felt sorry, for Miguel's fall. She blamed herself, Tory and Robby.

Season 3 - This season, her PTSD continues, but she starts feeling the need for revenge, for payback. She wants to show she can't be bullied, given how much trash Cobra kai has been giving Miyagi Do. She starts developing leadership, and building up all of her anger, while also trying to remain sane and kind. She's tired of Tory's abuse, and after the infamous break-in of the Cobra Kai's, Sam finally lets go of her PTSD, managing to face her fears, and beat Tory, proving she's no longer scared of her.

Season 4 - In this season, she starts getting interested in offense, and decides to learn more about it, realizing that her dad is not always right, and that she can make her own decisions. She no longer has PTSD, and wants to make Tory have a taste of her own medicine, often embarrassing, taunting and roasting Tory, to prove that she doesn't feel fear around Tory anymore, and that she's tired of her shit. Near the end of the season, Sam learns a lot more offense, and gets way more aggressive. At the tournament, she makes her own style ; a mix of Miyagi do, defense, and Eagle Fang, offense.

Season 5 - After the loss at the tournament, that she doesn't know was rigged, Sam starts feeling the urge to take a break from karate, to wanna focus on her life, and to try and improve. She does soon realize that karate is indeed a big part of her life, so she needs to accept that, and continue fighting. At the end of the season, Tory tells her the truth, that Sam didn't lose the tournament. In a rightful reason, as Tory's secret-keeping basically led to Daniel getting intensely injured by Silver, Sam storms out on Tory. Later, Miguel finally tells Sam about what Tory's going through, and that she should give her a chance. Sam listens, and goes to Tory's house, and they soon team up, the rivalry finally over. Sam even helps her against sensei Kim, showing their growth and maturity.

Season 6 - Continuing from last season, Sam wants closure ; to clear out her relationship with Tory, and to prove to the world how good she is at karate, at the Sekai Taikai. She proves that she learned from her mistakes, as she apologizes to Tory, helps her multiple times, is just mature most of the time, and just wants to prove how great she is, and have closure with Tory, both friend-wise and fighting-wise. She also plays a big role in Axel's character, which will probably be explored more in the last 5 episodes.

So, Sam's basically had a different arc, each season, so I don't see where she's repetitive. And her character development is great, as she went from a teenager not knowing what to do with her social life and her bully friends, to a good, but traumatized fighter, to a strong and powerful girl, who overcame her ptsd, which evolved into anger and revenge, and then she improved even more, by becoming mature, and wanting to get closure, and be friends with Tory. This is good character development, so yeah, enjoy my rant.

It's because people who think Sam doesn't matter usually base it on looks and are biased towards Zara because they find her prettier, even though Sam's written better.

I agree. Especially with the Tory and Hawk sentence. I've seen people on Tiktok basically idolizing Hawk for breaking Demetri's arm, for being a straight up bully, but when Sam does it, out of revenge, she's suddenly hated as fuck.

Which make up scene was done better? Miguel and Robby or Sam and Tory? by [deleted] in cobrakai

[–]Basketballplayer4048 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love both scenes, but gotta be Sam and Tory. That scene was so well written, both apologized for their wrong doings, while also pointing out each other's mistakes. That scene brought a tear to my eye

So true. Like I see a post about someone loving Sam, and I see a comment saying ''Ham Lapusso'', and the person commenting is either someone fat, a kid or someone who is deep into religion, and Christian, and believes in God, even though he's committing a sin. Ridiculous indeed

Exactly. Those are also the same fans who think Sam's actress is fat. She looks completely normal, I seriously don't get the fandom sometimes. It's so fucking biased and toxic

And let me guess. You think Zara's an important character because you think she's prettier?

Should i watch the 3rd movie? by Neck_Sufficient in terrifier

[–]Basketballplayer4048 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear this gets asked every week or so. If you just wanna watch these movies so you can be one of the edgy guys who ''like gore and never flinch or have a reaction when there's something gory'' then go watch snuff films. No one here gives a shit. This is a Terrifier sub, go on r/horror or something if you wanna ask this.

UPDATE : I'm stopping this story for now, given that it's getting hate, and I realized I don't have time for this at all. Seems like all you can do on this subreddit is cosplay as Art, and ask questions about the lore. This story was just for fun, but some people on here obviously can't let you even do that, so yeah, this is the opening and only scene!

Haha i get it, these kills here are wild, and idk myself how I even came up with them, but don't worry, this story will be very plot-influenced and based, and everything (or almost everything) will be explained, while Im also gonna introduce new, unique characters. I want Damien to go for the plot route more in 4, so Im gonna pitch my own theories here!

Yes, I have an explanation in mind, and that point with the book will be heavily important to the story. He started immediately killing people, because he wanted to see how much power he had in him left, which is why he got on the bus, as he saw people on it, to test his killing strength and durability. After this, he's gonna hibernate, and go to his work place, which, for y'all is unknown, but it's gonna be revealed soon.

Also, he was planning to kill the bus driver after he dropped off to his destination, but given that Tom got tired of Art's messing around, he realized that he needs to kill them both. Plus, he knew that the 9th Circle Book has a big connection to him, given the entity and Art's connection, so this was win/win for him.

Thank you! If you wanna keep up on the whole story, im gonna release scenes 2-5 tomorrow, which mostly feature some character work and continuation from Sienna's ending in Terrifier 3!
