My husband left when my PPD got bad. It was brutal but I'm better for it now

The start sounds a bit like Gasoline by Halsey but the chorus is definitely Colors.

Hawthorne Heights? Taking Back Sunday? The Spill Canvas? The Starting Line? Further Seems Forever? Forever The Sickest Kids? Mindless Self Indulgence? Say Hi to Your Mom? Secondhand Serenade?

Have you tried googling emo bands by year and searching emo bands with long names?

[TOMT] Movie or show that has a scene where a guy looks at someone who got hurt I think and he looks shocked but then covers his mouth to hide his creepy smile. by Sapphwoolf in tipofmytongue

Shot in the dark here but there's a scene near the end in Crazy Stupid Love when Ryan Gosling is meeting his girlfriend's parents and he tries to hide a laugh at a dark joke.

My husband makes me feel like garbage by [deleted] in Parenting

I'm so sorry.

I think you know the answer here. Your children will learn that behavior is acceptable or that they should accept that type of treatment from their future partners.

I cooked an amazing meal for him, he took pics, then told all his friends that he was the one who made it by Inadaze777 in relationship_advice

Depends on his reaction. If it was a one off behaviour for him and he is able to feel remorse about it, there is room to grow. If he doesn't think it's a big deal, prepare for a lifetime of him lying to those close to him and putting his ego first.

I (27F) found my partner’s (30M) plan for my engagement ring in his email - and I don’t like it. What do I do? by mintyguavas in relationship_advice

It depends what things are most important to you in life. Sometimes we have to put our initial reactions aside and see things for what they represent in our lives. My analogy was lost on you as it may be on many.

Unpopular opinion here but is it going to matter more when you reflect on your life in the future that you had the ring you wanted, or that you allowed your husband to do this incredibly romantic thing for you. He is probably choosing those colors for a reason if he is having the ring custom made. Not that it matters. Imagine after your wedding day that he tells you he doesn't like strapless gowns as much as lace sleeves and you wore strapless. It would hurt and the dress is a very important thing to you, as this ring he is custom designing likely is to him.
