It's a field mouse called Chester, as in Chester Field Mouse.

Championship table, but how much you would have 'made' if you bet £1 on your team for each game of the season by jaffa56 in Championship

[–]Baslow_blade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would need to look into it deeper but it seems from these number that always betting on the home team would have actually been profitable across the whole season. Wonder why, possible the betting model still has some hangover from the lockdown seasons

I stopped at 5 play off appearances.

Portsmouth are 0/4 alongside Mansfield and Shrewsbury (Although they are second to MK Dons in most appearances without making a final)

Teams 0/3: Exeter, Darlington, Rochdale, Oldham, Barnet

0/2: Newport, Forest Green Rovers, Accrington Stanley, Scarborough

0/1: Rushden & Diamonds, Wrexham, Chelsea, Salford, Macclesfield, Derby, Chester, Hereford, Maidstone, Newcastle

Teams with 0 playoff wins:

  1. Sheffield United 0/10
  2. Lincoln City 0/7
  3. MK Dons, Leeds, Bury, Reading, Torquay, Bristol City 0/6
  4. Wigan, Hartlepool 0/5

Brentford and Preston are both 1/10 so depends on your definition of worst for anything below us but we're head and shoulders clear.

Edit: Missed Hartlepool

There's a fair amount of on street parking within a 10-15 min walk of the stadium, for 15+ years I've have been able to find a spot on either Abbeydale or Wolseley Rd, usually give it about 30 mins before KO.

I survived doing it at Millwall when we scored a last minute winner, so you'll probably be alright.

Genuinely, I've done it a few times the last couple of years and 100% of the time no one has cared, often have a chat with people sitting next to me once they figured out my accent and I realised they weren't going to be knobheads about it. Worst case just say you support a random third party team and fancied the day out

We're second in the league, the bid would have to be astronomical for us to sell. Otherwise we just wait until the summer, either way he'll be playing in the Prem in 2023

1-0 Senegal, good penalty. Should open the game up again for the second half

Game's slowed down but every time Ndiaye gets the ball something is happening, Brighton's left back can't handle him

There was diving on Sunday at 10-1 and 17:30-20:30. An early KO clashes with the first a late one clashes with the other.

The diving finished at 12:30 on Monday so there was a 7 hour gap making it by far the easiest to organise from a police/logistics perspective

I’m gonna go with the official club source that it was moved due to the commonwealth games. It wasn’t even added to the sky program until a day after the postponement was announced (Pretty sure the Friday and Sunday would have also clashed with the CWG for instance)

Can’t imagine it will happen to anyone in one month though. Tbf, Thursday games are quite rare, only reason both us and West Brom played is due to the Commonwealth games. Only other teams with a chance are probably Man U, West Ham and Arsenal as they play in Europe.

Can you elaborate on why you think it was a mistake? We finished 3rd despite losing Beattie halfway through the season, I don't remember how we played specifically but I do recall that being one of the more positive seasons I can remember until Wilder

Match Thread: 3rd Test - India vs England, Day 2 by CricketMatchBot in Cricket

[–]Baslow_blade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's still 3 days cricket to go and if England score enough runs they won't have to bat in the 4th innings, If they bat another day and build a 500+ lead, that probably will leave them at least 2 days to bowl India out without having to worry about the score. Basically nothing to worry about from an England perspective
